Guillaume Roussel (The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan & Milady, 3 Days to Kill, Black Beauty, Marie Antoinette, November Nero the Assasssin, The Spy, Happy!) is attached to score the upcoming reboot of the French feature franchise Fantomas. The film will be directed by Frédéric Tellier (Through the Fire, SK1) and is set to star Guillaume Canet, Romain Duris, Lyna Khoudri and Louis Peres. The movie is set in Paris, 1914, and follows the titular master of deception and chaos who is being chased by Lieutenant Juve as he investigates a series of violent crimes that have put the city on edge. The album features the film’s original music composed by Arnaud Toulon, as well as the original song Clouds Away by singer/songwriter November Ultra & Toulon. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1985 supernatural horror cult classic Fright Night written and directed by Tom Holland and starring Chris Sarandon, William Ragsdale, Amanda Bearse, Roddy McDowall and Stephen Geoffreys. The album features the film’s newly remastered original score composed by Brad Fiedel (The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, True Lies, The Accused, The Real McCoy, Blink, The Serpent and the Rainbow), including 17 minutes of unreleased music. The CD, which is being released to coincide with the movie’s 40th anniversary, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list.
