Lee Mendelson Film Productions will release the first-ever soundtrack album for the 1974 animated television special It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown! created by Charles M. Schulz and directed by Phil Roman. The album features the premiere release of complete score from the twelfth Peanuts special composed by Vince Guaraldi (A Charlie Brown Christmas, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Boy Named Charlie Brown). Also included as a bonus track is Woodstock’s Medley performed byDavid Benoit (piano) with original Guaraldi sidemen Seward McCain (bass) and Mike Clark (drums), recorded fifty years later at the same Hyde Street studio where the soundtrack was recorded in San Francisco. Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s original limited American Primeval. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by the post-rock band Explosions in the Sky (Friday Night Lights, Prince Avalanche, Lone Survivor, Manglehorn). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 9 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.
