the-conspiracyScreamworks Records will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Conspiracy. The album features the film’s original music composed by Darren Baker. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 17, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. The Conspiracy is written and directed by Christopher MacBride and stars Aaron Poole and Jim Gilbert as two filmmakers who select a crazed conspiracy theorist as the subject of their new movie and get sucked into the world of secret societies and worldwide conspiracies. Hans Zimmer Interviews at ‘Rush’ World Premiere

rush-2Hans Zimmer attended last night’s red carpet world premiere of Ron Howard’s racing drama Rush in London. Two interviews with the composer from the event have appeared online. Talking with Red Carpet News TV, Zimmer talked about his work on the film starring Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Bruhl, as well as his possible involvement in the upcoming Superman/Batman film directed by Zack Snyder, which set for a release in 2015. The composer also briefly mentions that he is currently working on Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. de-luca-brothersThe de Luca Brothers have recently scored the upcoming romantic comedy Two Night Stand. The film is directed by Max Nichols and stars Miles Teller, Analeigh Tipton, Jessica Szohr, Kid Cudi and Leven Rambin. The movie centers on a pair of twentysomething strangers who are trapped together in an apartment after a Manhattan blizzard forces them to extend a regrettable one-night stand. Mark Hammer has written the script, which made the 2011 Black List. Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland, Gangster Squad) and Beau Flynn (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Journey to the Center of the Earth) are producing the project with Sam Englebardt & William D. sebastianIntrada Records has announced the world premiere release of the complete score for the 1968 spy thriller Sebastian directed by David Greene and starring Dirk Bogarde, Susannah York, Lilli Palmer, Janet Munro, Ronald Fraser and Sir John Gielgud. The album features the film’s original music written and conducted by Academy Award-winning composer Jerry Goldsmith (Star Trek: The Motion Picture, The Omen, Patton), including the content of the original 1968 LP release on the Dot label. ‘A Single Shot’ Soundtrack Details

The album features the film’s original music composed by Atli Orvarsson (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 17, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD is set to be released later this year. Check out audio clips after the jump. A Single Shot is directed by David M. Rosenthal and stars Sam Rockwell, William H. Macy, Jeffery Wright, Jason Isaacs and Kelly Reilly. The movie follows a wild-game poacher who makes a fatal mistake that leaves him with a suitcase full of blood money and hardened killers on his trail. star-crossedGabriel Mann has been hired to score the upcoming CW drama Star-Crossed. The show is created by Meredith Averill (The Good Wife, Life on Mars) and stars Aimee Teegarden, Matt Lanter, Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin, Jr., Chelsea Gilligan and Greg Finley. The series chronicles the epic romance between a human girl and an alien boy when he and eight others of his kind are integrated into a suburban high school. Averill is also executive producing the CBS Television Studios and Warner Bros. Television production with Josh Appelbaum & Andre Nemec (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol), Scott Rosenberg (October Road) Bryan Furst & Sean Furst (Daybreakers), Daniel Gutman and Richard Shehard (The Matador, The Hunting Party, Ringer). ‘Filth’ Score Album Details

filth-scoreMilan Records will release a score album for the comedic thriller Filth. The album features the film’s original music composed by Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain, Black Swan). The soundtrack will be released in the UK on September 27, 2013 and in the US on April 22, 2014. Filth based on a novel by Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh is written and directed by Jon S. Baird (Green Street Hooligans) and stars James McAvoy, Jamie Bell, Jim Broadbent, Eddie Marsan, Imogen Poots and Joanne Frogatt. The movie will be released in the UK on October 4, 2013. saf3Cory Lerios has signed on to score the upcoming action adventure series SAF3. The show is created by Gregory J. Bonann & Tai Collins and stars Dolph Lundgren in his first TV series. The drama follows the Southern California’s elite multi-agency task force Rescue 3, which consists of the cream-of-the-crop from Los Angeles Lifeguard, Firefighter and Coast Guard agencies. J.R. Ramirez, Lydia Hull, Texas Battle, Jocelyn Osorio, Katie Meehan, Travis Burns and Danielle Anderson are co-starring in the Emmett/Furla Films, Tower 18 Productions and Envision Entertainment production. Lerios also serves as a producer on the project. The composer has previously collaborated with Bonann on the long-running hit series Baywatch, as well as Thunder in Paradise. The album features the film’s original music composed and produced by Alexander (aka Alex Ebert of the indie rock band Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros). The soundtrack will be released on October 1, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips are embedded after the jump. All Is Lost is written and directed by J.C. Chandor (Margin Call) and stars Robert Redford as a man who gets lost at sea and struggles against the elements to stay alive. The film premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival to rave reviews for Redford’s lead performance and will be released in theaters on October 18 by Roadside Attractions/Lionsgate. Three new movies are opening wide this week:

closed-circuitAlready in theaters since Wednesday is the thriller Closed Circuit directed by John Crowley and starring Eric Bana, Rebecca Hall, Riz Ahmed, Jim Broadbent, Kenneth Cranham, Anne-Marie Duff, Ciarán Hinds and Julia Stiles. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score digitally earlier this week. one-directionOpening wide today is the concert documentary One Direction: This Is Us directed by Morgan Spurlock about the British/Irish boy band One Direction, consisting of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Franglen who collaborated with James Horner on his scores for Avatar, The Amazing Spider-Man and The Karate Kid has composed the film’s original score. No soundtrack album has been released, but the songs featured in the film are available on the band’s records.
