Terwilliger (One Six Right) and tells the story about how the airplane has changed the world and how it affected our society by spreading culture, bringing together family and friends, and creating value for the global economy. Harrison Ford is narrating the documentary, which was filmed in 18 countries across all 7 continents. Horner is a pilot himself and part of a team known as The Horsemen, a trio of aerobatic pilots who fly in tribute to those who flew fighting for their country. tyler-batesTyler Bates revealed in a recent interview with We Are Movie Geeks that he is scoring the upcoming DirecTV original series Kingdom. The show is created by created by Byron Balasco and stars Frank Grillo, Nick Jonas, Jonathan Tucker, Joanna Going, Matt Lauria, Kiele Sanchez, Cynthia Stevenson, M.C. Gainey and Bryan Callen. The drama takes place in Venice, California and is set against the renegade subculture of mixed martial arts (MMA). Balscao is also executive producing the Endemol Studios production. a-second-chanceJohan Söderqvist is reteaming with Susanne Bier on the upcoming drama A Second Chance (En chance til). The Danish/Swedish co-production stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Ulrich Thomsen, Maria Bonnevie, Nikolaj Lie Kaas and Lykke May Andersen. The film follows a veteran police with a wife and new baby who makes a fateful decision when he is brought back into contact with a pair of junkie parents. Anders Thomas Jensen has written the screenplay and Sisse Graum Jørgensen is producing the Zentropa production. The Academy Award-winning director has previously collaborated with the composer on numerous projects, including In a Better World, Brothers and Love Is All You Need. He also scored Bier’s Serena starring Bradley Cooper & Jennifer Lawrence, which is still awaiting a premiere date.

black-seaIlan Eshkeri has recently recorded his score for the upcoming thriller Black Sea. The film is directed by Kevin Macdonald and stars Jude Law, Grigoriy Dobrygin, Konstantin Khabenskiy, Sergey Kolesnikov, Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, Sergey Puskepalis, Michael Smile, David Threlfall and Jodie Whittaker. The movie follows a rogue submarine captain who, after being laid off from a salvage company, pulls together a misfit crew to go after a sunken treasure rumored to be lost in the depths of the Black Sea. Dennis Kelly (Utopia) has written the screenplay. Macdonald is also producing the project with Charles Steel (Marley) for Cowboy Films. The director has previously collaborated with such composers as Alex Heffes (The Last King of ScotlandState of Play), Atli Orvarsson (The Eagle) and Jon Hopkins (How I Live Now). The 2-CD set is limited to 6000 copies and features the film’s expanded score composed by Michael Giacchino (UpThe IncrediblesLostDawn of the Planet of the Apes, Ratatouille). hauntVarese Sarabande has announced a soundtrack release for the horror thriller Haunt. The album features the film’s original music composed by Golden Globe nominee Reinhold Heil (Cloud Atlas, Helix, The International, One Hour Photo). The soundtrack is now available to order on Varese’s website, where you can also listen to audio clips and check out the full album details. Haunt is directed by Mac Carter and stars Harriston Gilbertson, Liana Liberato, Jacki Weaver and Ione Skye. The movie follows a boy who gets involved with a mysterious neighbor when his family moves into a new home and unwittingly summons a demon. The movie follows follows a girl trapped in a drug underworld who hatches a game of revenge against those who’ve wronged her. The thriller is now available on Blu-ray and DVD from Entertainment One.

toy-story-that-time-forgotMichael Giacchino announced at Comic-Con this past week that he is set to score the upcoming holiday special Toy Story That Time Forgot. The Pixar production is directed by Steve Purcell (Brave) and features the voice talent of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Kristen Schaal, Kevin McKidd, Wallace Shawn, Timothy Dalton, Don Rickles and Joan Cusack. The animated special is set during a post-Christmas play date and follows the gang as they find themselves in uncharted territory when the coolest set of action figures ever turn out to be dangerously delusional. Galyn Susman is producing the project. frankSilva Screen Records will release the song I Love You All from the indie comedy Frank. The track is performed by the fictional band The Soronprfbs featuring the character of Frank, played by Michael Fassbender. The song will be released as a single overseas on August 11, 2014. No word yet on the domestic release date. Frank is directed by Lenny Abrahamson and stars Michael Fassbender, Domhnall Gleeson, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Scoot McNairy. The movie centers on a wannabe musician who finds himself out of his depth when he joins an avant-garde pop band led by the enigmatic Frank – a musical genius who hides himself inside a large fake head.
