Singer/songwriter Scott Walker is set to score the upcoming indie drama The Childhood of a Leader. The project marks the directorial debut of actor Brady Corbet and stars Robert Pattinson, Tim Roth, Berenice Bejo and Stacy Martin. The movie is set in 1918 and tells the story of a young American living in France whose father is working for the US government on the creation of the Treaty of Versailles. Corbet has also written the screenplay with Mona Fastvold (The Sleepwalker). Premiering tonight is the new Showtime original series The Affair created by Hagai Lemi & Sarah Treem and starring Dominic West, Ruth Wilson, Maura Tierney and Joshua Jackson. The show’s original music is composed by Marcelo Zarvos (Enough Said, Ray Donovan, The Good Shepherd, The Door in the Floor). Premiering tomorrow, October 13, is the new CW drama Jane the Virgin created by Jennie Snyder Urman and starring Gina Rodriguez, Andrea Navedo, Justin Baldoni, Yael Grobglas, Brett Dier, Ivonne Coll and Jaime Camil. Kevin Kiner (Hell on Wheels, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, CSI: Miami) is composing the show’s score and Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain, The Motorcycle Diaries, Babel) has composed the theme music. Walt Disney Records to Release ‘Big Hero 6’ Soundtrack

Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ feature Big Hero 6. The album features the film’s original music composed by Henry Jackman (Wreck-It-Ralph, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, X-Men: First Class, Puss in Boots), as well as the end title track Immortals performed by Fall Out Boy. The song is featured in the New York Comic-Con Sizzle that was shown to fans earlier this week and is embedded after the jump. The soundtrack will be released physically on November 24, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A digital release is expected to be available in early November. John Swihart has been tapped to score the upcoming indie coming-of-age dramedy A Light Beneath Their Feet. The film is directed by Valerie Weiss and stars Taryn Manning, Madison Davenport, Kurt Fuller, Maddie Hasson and Kali Hawk. The movie follows a high school senior who must choose between the college of her dreams and taking care of her mother living with bipolar disorder. Moira McMahon Leeper wrote the screenplay. ‘Annie’ Soundtrack Details

Roc Nation Records and Madison Gate Records will release a soundtrack album for the new film adaptation of the musical Annie. The album features the songs from the film performed by the movie’s cast including Quvenzhané Wallis, Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx, Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale, Amanda Troya, Eden Duncan Smith, Nicolette Pierini and Zoe Colletti. Sia has also contributed music to the soundtrack, including a collaboration with Beck. The soundtrack will be released on November 17, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Annie directed by Will Gluck (Easy A, Friends with Benefits) is set in present day New York and follows a young, happy orphan girl who is taken in by a hard-nosed tycoon and New York mayoral candidate – advised by his brilliant VP and his shrewd and scheming campaign advisor. Ronen Landa has been tapped to write the music for the upcoming psychological thriller Eloise. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Academy Award-winning visual effects supervisor Robert Legato (Titanic, Hugo, Apollo 13) and stars Chace Crawford, Eliza Dushku, Brandon T. Jackson, Robert Patrick and P.J. Byrne. The movie follows four friends who break into a defunct insane asylum and find that the institution not only houses a horrifying history but also the truth about their own tragic pasts. Chris Borrelli (The Vatican Tapes, Whisper) has written the screenplay. John Paesano has been hired to score Marvel’s upcoming Netflix series Daredevil. The show based on the Marvel Comics character and stars Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll, Rosario Dawson and Scott Glenn. The series follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods, Cloverfield) and Steven S.
