Walt Disney Records has released a third soundtrack album for the live-action reimagining of Disney’s animated classic Snow White. The album features the film’s original score composed by Jeff Morrow (A Christmas Story Christmas, George Carlin’s American Dream, Science Fair, The Snoopy Show, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure) and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music, including Amazon, where you can also check out the track list. All score tracks have previously been released as part of the deluxe edition soundtrack, which also includes Benj Pasek’s & Justin Paul’s original songs and new versions of the songs from the original animated movie, earlier this week. Deutsche Grammophon has released Howard Shore: Anthology – The Paris Concerts, a new album featuring music by the Academy Award-winning composer recorded during Radio France’s 2023 Week-End Howard Shore performed by the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and conducted by Ludwig Wicki & Bastien Stil. Mike Schäperclaus conducts Le Balcon ensemble in the chamber works. Among the titles featured on the release are Shore’s scores from Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring & The Hobbit, David Cronenberg’s The Fly, Crash, Eastern Promises & Naked Lunch, Arnaud Desplechin’s Esther Khan and Tim Burton’s Ed Wood. Composer Michael Yezerski (The Tax Collector, The Vigil, Blindspotting, Feel the Beat, Corporate Animals) is reteaming with director Sean Byrne (The Loved Ones) on the upcoming Australian horror thriller Dangerous Animals. The film starring Jai Courtney, Hassie Harrison & Josh Heuston follows a rebellious surfer who is abducted by a shark-obsessed serial killer and – trapped on his boat – must escape before he carries out a ritualistic feeding to the sharks below.
