The full details of the soundtrack release for the upcoming drama Denial have been released. The album features the film’s original music written by Academy Award-winning composer Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Aviator, The Silence of the Lambs, Hugo, The Hobbit). The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on September 30, 2016 by Howe Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Denial is directed by Mick Jackson (The Bodyguard) and stars Rachel Weisz, Tom Wilkinson and Timothy Spall. ‘Mountain Cry’ Soundtrack Released

Enka has released a soundtrack album for the Chinese drama Mountain Cry. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nicolas Errera (Shaolin, The Butterfly, The White Storm). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Mountain Cry is written and directed by Larry Yang and stars Lang Yueting, Wang Ziyi, Cheng Taishen, Yu Ailei, Guo Jin, Xu Caigen, Zhao Chendong and Li Siying. The movie based on the novel by Ge Shuiping is set in 1980s post-Cultural Revolution era China and revolves around a man who is obliged to look after a mute woman after her husband’s violent death. Premiering tonight is the new Fox comedy Son of Zorn created by Reed Agnew & Eli Jorne and starring Johnny Pemberton, Cheryl Hines, Tim Meadows, as well as Jason Sudeikis as the voice of Zorn. The Creative Arts Emmy Awards are being handed out this afternoon at the Microsoft Theatre LA LIVE in Downtown Los Angeles. Sean Callery has won his fourth Emmy Award for the main titles theme for his main titles theme for Netflix’s Jessica Jones. He previously received three Emmys for his work on 24. Victor Reyes was honored with his first Emmy Award in the Music Composition for a Limited Series, Movie or a Special category for his music for AMC’s The Night Manager. Four new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the drama Sully directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Tom Hanks, Aaron Eckhart and Laura Linney. The film’s original music is composed by Christian Jacob and The Tierney Sutton Band. Eastwood has contributed the score’s theme and also co-wrote the end titles song Flying Home based on his theme. Also opening wide is the thriller When the Bough Breaks directed by Jon Cassar and starring Morris Chestnut, Regina Hall, Romany Malco, Michael K. Williams, Theo Rossi and Jaz Sinclair. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller Blair Witch. The album features the film’s original music composed by director Adam Wingard (The Guest, You’re Next) who makes his feature scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 16, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A physical version will released a few weeks later and can be pre-ordered here. Blair Witch is directed by Wingard, written by Simon Barrett and stars James Allen McCune, Callie Hernandez, Brandon Scott, Valorie Curry, Corbin Reid and Wes Robinson. Thomas Newman has been hired to score the upcoming sci-fi romance Passengers. The film is directed by Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game) and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt, Michael Sheen, Laurence Fishburne and Aurora Perrineau. The movie is set on a spacecraft in the future traveling to a distant colony planet and transporting thousands of people that has a malfunction in its sleep chambers.
