Keegan DeWitt is reteaming with director Aaron Katz on the upcoming thriller Gemini. The film is written and directed by Katz (Cold Weather) and stars Lola Kirke, Zoe Kravitz, John Cho, Ricki Lake, Greta Lee, Michelle Forbes, Nelson Franklin, Reeve Carney, Jessica Parker Kennedy and James Ransone. Mynette Louie (Cold Comes the Night, Children of Invention), Sara Murphy (Morris From America) and Adele Romanski (Moonlight, Black Rock, Kicks) are producing the project. Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller sequel John Wick: Chapter 2. Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, 300, Dawn of the Dead, Watchman) and Joel J. Richard (Quantico) who previously scored the 2014 original film have composed the film’s original music. The soundtrack will be released in February and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Guillermo del Toro revealed in a recent interview with Indiewire that Alexandre Desplat is set to compose the music for the director’s upcoming fantasy drama The Shape of Water. The film stars Sally Hawkins, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Doug Jones, Michael Stuhlbarg and Octavia Spencer. The movie is described as an other-worldly story, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1963. The film’s original music is composed by David Benjamin Steinberg (Mapplethorpe: Look at the Pictures). The movie is based on Jonny Donahoe’s and Duncan Macmillan’s play and follows Donahoe as he thoughtfully guides the audience through all of the brilliant things the world has to offer.
