desplatGuillermo del Toro revealed in a recent interview with Indiewire that Alexandre Desplat is set to compose the music for the director’s upcoming fantasy drama The Shape of Water. The film stars Sally Hawkins, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Doug Jones, Michael Stuhlbarg and Octavia Spencer. The movie is described as an other-worldly story, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1963.
