Four new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the gothic fantasy movie The House with a Clock in Its Walls directed by Eli Roth and starring Jack Black, Cate Blanchett, Owen Vaccaro, Kyle MacLachlan, Collen Camp, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Vanessa Anne Williams and Sunny Suljic. The film’s original music is composed by Nathan Barr (True Blood, The Americans, Hostel, Cabin Fever). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Also opening wide is the drama Life Itself written and directed by Dan Fogelman and starring Oscar Isaac, Olivia Wilde, Mandy Patinkin, Olivia Cooke, Laia Costa, Annette Bening and Antonio Banderas. Federico Jusid (The Secret in Their Eyes, Kidnap, Misconduct, The Hunter’s Prayer) has composed the film’s original score. No soundtrack album has been announced.
