Filmtrax will release a soundtrack album for the disaster action thriller The Hurricane Heist. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lorne Balfe (The LEGO Batman Movie, Pacific Rim Uprising, Home, The Crown, Terminator Genisys, Genius). Rupert Gregson-Williams has been hired to score the upcoming comic book movie Aquaman. The film is directed by James Wan (Furious 7, The Conjuring, Insidious, Saw) and stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Ludi Lin, Dolph Lundgren, Temuera Morrison, Michael Beach and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. The movie is based on the DC Comics character who learns that he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, born half-human as Arthur Curry and half-Atlantean. Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the drama Chappaquiddick. The album features the film’s original music composed by Garth Stevenson (Tracks, Ten Thousand Saints). The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on April 6, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Chappaquiddick is directed by John Curran and stars Jason Clarke, Kate Mara, Ed Helms, Jim Gaffigan, Clancy Brown, Taylor Nichols, Olivia Thirlby and Bruce Dern. The movie revolves around the scandal and mysterious events surrounding the tragic drowning of a young woman, as Ted Kennedy drove his car off the infamous bridge. Jeff Russo has signed on to score the upcoming action thriller Mile 22. The film is directed by Peter Berg (Friday Night Lights, Lone Survivor, Patriots Day, Deepwater Horizon) and stars Mark Wahlberg, Lauren Cohan, John Malkovich, Iko Uwais and Ronda Rousey. The movie centers on an elite American intelligence officer who, when aided by a top-secret tactical command unit, tries to smuggle a mysterious police officer with sensitive information out of the country. Graham Roland (Jack Ryan) and Lea Carpenter have written the screenplay. The show is created by Ben Young Mason & Justin Wilkes and stars JiHAE, Sammi Rotibi, Alberto Ammann, Clémentine Poidatz, Anamaria Marinca and Cosima Shaw. They are joined by new cast members Esai Morales, Roxy Sternberg, Gunnar Cauthery, Levi Fiehler, Evan Hall, Akbar Kurtha and Jeff Hephner.
