Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga and Lukas Nelson have received their first BAFTA Award for their music for Cooper’s A Star Is Born in the Original Music category today at the ceremony at the Orange British Academy Film Awards ceremony at the Royal Opera House in London. Cooper accepted the award on behalf of the full music team. They were nominated in the BAFTA music category alongside Terence Blanchard (BlacKkKlansman), Nicholas Britell (If Beale Street Could Talk), Alexandre Desplat (Isle of Dogs) and Marc Shaiman (Mary Poppins Returns). ‘Holy Lands’ Soundtrack Released

Pigalle Production has released a soundtrack album for the drama Holy Lands. The album features the film’s original music composed by Gregoire Hetzel (Incendies, Ismael’s Ghosts, My Golden Days, Summertime). Also included is Jimmy Cliff’s song Many Rivers to Cross. The soundtrack is now available digitally in France (visit the French Amazon store to check out audio samples). No word yet on a domestic release. Holy Lands is written and directed by Amanda Sthers and stars James Caan, Tom Hollander, Rosanna Arquette, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Efrat Dor. The film’s original score is composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, 21/22 Jump Street, The Royal Tenenbaums). Also opening nationwide is the comedy What Men Want directed by Adam Shankman and starring Taraji P. Henson, Aldis Hodge, Richard Roundtree, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Tracy Morgan. The film is directed by Adam Egypt Mortimer (Some Kind of Hate) and stars Patrick Schwarzenegger, Miles Robbins, Sasha Lane, Hannah Marks and Mary Stuart Masterson. The movie centers on a troubled college freshman who suffers a violent family trauma and resurrects his childhood imaginary friend to help him cope. Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for the slasher sequel Happy Death Day 2U. The album features the film’s original music composed by Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Outlander, Battlestar Galactica, Colossal, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) who previously scored 2017’s original Happy Death Day movie. The soundtrack will be released next Friday, February 15 and is will be available to download on Amazon. RCA Records and MBK Entertainment have released H.E.R.‘s new cover version of Aretha Franklin’s Think from the comedy What Men Want. The track, originally written by Franklin & Ted White, is produced by Ryan Tedder and Zach Skelton. The song is now available to download on Amazon. Also listen to the full track after the jump.
