Rebecca Ferguson has recorded an original song for the animated feature Funan. The track, entitled Running, will be released as a digital single tomorrow and will be available to download on Amazon. Listen to the full song after the jump. A full soundtrack album, which also features the film’s original score composed by Thibaut Kientz-Agyeman, will be released next month by Milan Records. Funan is directed by Denis Do and features the voices of Bérénice Bejo and Louis Garrel. Dan Deacon has composed the original score for the upcoming documentary Well Groomed. The film is directed by Rebecca Stern and takes place in the world of competitive creative dog grooming. The movie follows four champion groomers and their dogs through a year in the life on the technicolor competition circuit, exploring their creative process. Stern is also producing the project with Justin Levy and Matthew C. Mills. Deacon’s previous film scoring credits include Francis Ford Coppola’s Twixt and the documentary Rat Film. Zach Robinson has been tapped to score the upcoming indie drama Josie & Jack. The film marks the feature directorial debut of actress Sarah Lancaster and stars Olivia DeJonge, Alex Neustaedter, William Ficthner, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Owen Campbell and Anna Baryshnikov. The movie is based on the novel of the same title by Kelly Braffet and tells the story of two teenage siblings who are raised in isolation in a decaying rural Pennsylvania mansion. Deutsche Grammophon has announced the full details of the Celebrating John Williams concert recording album. The album features some of the best-known works of composer John Williams recorded in late January 2019 at four concerts at Walt Disney Concert Hall performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic and conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. Among the titles included are themes from Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, and Indiana Jones, as well a previously a unreleased concert arrangement (Adagio) for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
