Interscope Records has announced a soundtrack album for the drama Teen Spirit. The album features the cover songs featured in the film performed by lead actress Elle Fanning, as well as the new song Wildflower written by Carly Rae Jepsen & Jack Antonoff. Also included are tracks by No Doubt,Grimes and Major Lazer feat. MØ & DJ Snake. A first track (Fanning’s cover of Robyn’s Dancing On My Own) is already available as a digital single and can be downloaded here. The album features the film’s original music composed by Michael Abels who previously scored the filmmaker’s Get Out. Also included are songs by Luniz, Janelle Monáe and Minnie Riperton. Tôt Ou Tard has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Sweetheart (Mon Bébé). The album features the film’s original music composed by singer/songwriter Yael Naim who made her feature film scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Sweetheart is written and directed by Lisa Azuelos (LOL, Dalida) and stars Sandrine Kiberlain, Thaïs Alessandrin, Victor Belmondo, Mickael Lumière and Camille Claris. The track list of the soundtrack album for Tim Burton’s live-action adaptation of Disney’s Dumbo has been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Danny Elfman (Batman, Alice in Wonderland, Spider-Man, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Men in Black, Avengers: Age of Ultron). Also included is are new versions of the song Baby Mine (originally written by Frank Churchill & Ned Washington for the 1941 animated classic) performed by actress Sharon Rooney in the film and by Arcade Fire for the end credits sequence (already available to download here). Composer Nathan Johnson is reteaming with director Rian Johnson on the upcoming crime drama Knives Out. The film starring Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Toni Collette, Lakeith Stanfield, Ana de Armas, Don Johnson, Katherine Langford and Christopher Plummer is being described as a modern murder mystery. The film is directed by Andy De Emmony (West Is West, Love Bite) and stars Matthew Goode, Russell Brand, Paula Patton, Ashley Aufderheide, Teddie Malleson-Allen, Billy Jenkins, Ellie-Mae Siame, as well as Michael Caine as the voice of It. The movie is based on Jacqueline Wilson’s children’s book of the same title and follows four kids who are horrified to learn that their beach vacation is in fact a bonding trip with their potential future step-siblings and accidentally stumble upon a magical creature who can grant them one wish a day. The album features the film’s original music composed by Steven Gutheinz (Night of the Living Deb, Why We Ride). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 22 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Around the Sun is directed by Oliver Krimpas and stars Cara Theobold and Gethin Anthony. The movie is set at a repossessed chateau in France and follows a film location scout who falls for its flirtatious representative, who recounts the story of an influential book written there.
