Madison Gate Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV original series Dark Matter. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Emmy Award winner Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, Leave the World Behind, American Horror Story, Feud: Bette and Joan, His & Hers, American Crime Story, The Beauty, Monster: The Ed Gein Story, Gaslit). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 4. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. The label has previously released an album featuring Jason Hill’s score from Season 1 back in 2024. Dark Matter is created by Blake Crouch based on his bestselling novel of the same title and stars Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga, Oakes Fegley, Jimmi Simpson, Amanda Brugel and Dayo Okeniyi. Season 2 of the sci-fi thriller follows the Dessens as they settle into a quiet life in a world that finally seems safe until the unimaginable forces them to run once again. The new season premiered last week and new episodes are currently dropping every Friday on Apple TV.
