Invada Records has released a soundtrack album for the French/Finnish documentary This Train I Ride. The album features the film’s original music composed by Warren Ellis (The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford , Hell or High Water, The Road, Lawless, Mustang, The Proposition). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. A vinyl edition will be released later this year. This Train I Ride is directed by Arno Bitschy and tells the story of a group of women living on the fringe in a rapidly changing country and who are are hopping on freight trains as a nomadic lifestyle. The documentary was released in select French and Finnish theaters last fall.
