Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day) has been tapped to score the upcoming Child’s Play reboot. The film is directed by Lars Klevberg (Polaroid) and stars Aubrey Plaza, Brian Tyree Henry and Gabriel Bateman, as well as Mark Hamill as the voice of Chucky. The horror thriller is based on the 1988 classic (scored by Joe Renzetti) and follows a single mother who gifts her son a Buddi doll, unaware of its more sinister nature. Tyler Burton Smith wrote the screenplay. David Katzenberg (It, The Goldbergs) and Seth Grahame-Smith (The Lego Batman Movie, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) are producing the project. First Soundtrack Single for FX’s ‘Fosse/Verdon’ Released

Atlantic Records has released the first soundtrack for the new FX limited series Fosse/Verdon. The 3-track single features the show’s theme composed by Alex Lacamoire who serves as the project’s music director. Also included are the songs Big Spender and Cabaret performed by cast members Kelli Barrett, Bianca Marroquin and Reza Webb & The Fandango Girls. Visit Amazon to download the soundtrack. Parlaphone France has released a soundtrack album for the French TV series Vernon Subutex. The album features a selection of songs from the show by artists such as The Modern Lovers, Wreckless Eric, Spacemen 3, Les Thugs, Wall of Voodoo, Mudhoney, Karen Dalton, Sonic Youth, Janis Joplin, New Order, Ramones & others.
