Republic Records has released the original song Don’t Call Me Angel from Elizabeth Banks’ upcoming Charlie’s Angels reboot. The track, which is performed by Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus & Lana Del Rey, is now available to download as a digital single on Amazon. The album features a selection of songs inspired by the show’s third season, including Behind Barz by Drake (who serves as an executive producers on the new season), as well as tracks by Little Simz and Dave (who both appear in the drama), AJ Tracey, Fredo, Ghetts, SL, Headie One, Avelino, M Huncho and Young Teflon. Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for Noah Hawley’s sci-fi drama Lucy in the Sky. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Star Trek: Discovery, The Night Of, The Umbrella Academy, The Act) who has previously collaborated with Hawley on FX’s Fargo and Legion, among other projects. Academy Award-nominated songwriter Diane Warren has written the original song Hide the Hurt for the documentary Cracked Up. The track is performed by Macy Gray and will be released as a digital single tomorrow, September 13 by Artistry Music and will be available to stream and download on Amazon Music. Warren who has been Oscar-nominated four out of the last five years has previously contributed original songs for this year’s Late Night, Breakthrough and Miss Bala. Cracked Up directed by Michelle Esrick follows the comedian, actor, and SNL icon Darrell Hammond and examines the lasting effects of childhood trauma.
