Philip Glass (The Hours, Notes on a Scandal, Naqoyqatsi) and Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Dredd, Wormwood) are teaming up to score the upcoming Amazon original series Tales from the Loop. The sci-fi drama based is developed by Nathaniel Halpern (Legion) based on the art of Simon Stålenhag. Rebecca Hall has been cast as the female lead of the show, which explores the town and people who live above “The Loop,” a machine built to unlock and explore the mysteries of the universe – making things possible that were previously relegated only to science fiction. The film is directed by Lee Daniels (Precious, The Butler, Empire) and stars Andra Day in the title role of Billie Holiday, alongside Trevante Rhodes, Garrett Hedlund and Natasha Lyonne.
