The movie is written and directed by Tyler Perry (The Six Triple Eight, For Colored Girls) and stars Perry himself, Cassi Davis Patton, David Mann, Taja V. Simpson, Tamela Mann, Diamond White, Xavier Smalls, Jermaine Harris, Walnette Santiago and Brandon Sutton. ‘The Gold’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Released

Silva Screen Records has released a new soundtrack album for the BBC drama The Gold. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Simon Goff (Waves). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks after the jump. The label has previously released an album featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 back in 2023. Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, June 10, is the limited series Families Like Ours (Familier som vores) directed by Thomas Vinterberg and starring Amaryllis August, Albert Rudbeck Lindhardt, Helene Reingaard Neumann, Nikolaj Lie Kaas, Paprika Steen, Magnus Millang, David Dencik, Thomas Bo Larsen, Esben Smed and Asta Kamma August. The show’s original music is composed by Valentin Hadjadj (Close, Girl, April and the Extraordinary World, A Bigger World, Under the Stars of Paris, Rialto). 22D Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past January. Premiering on Wednesday, June 11, is the Netflix original documentary Titan: The OceanGate Disaster directed by Mark Monroe about OceanGate’s Titan tourist submersible that imploded in 2023 on a deep-sea dive to the Titanic. Andrew Skeet (MH370: The Plane That Disappeared, Jerry Springer: Fights, Camera, Action, The Body Next Door) & Nathan Klein (Ludwig, The Beast Within, 101 Dalmatian Street) have composed the film’s original music. The movie, which examines CEO Stockton Rush’s quest to become the next billionaire innovator and the doomed underwater endeavor that called into question the price of ambition in the depths of the ocean, just premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival this week and will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
