Lakeshore Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Servant. The album features selection of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Trevor Gureckis (The Goldfinch, Bloodline). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 last year. Servant is created by Tony Basgallop, executive produced by M. Opening in theaters nationwide and also premiering on HBO Max today is the psychological thriller The Little Things directed by John Lee Hancock and starring Denzel Washington, Rami Malek, Jared Leto, Natalie Morales, Chris Bauer, Terry Kinney, Joris Jarsky, Isabel Arraiza and Michael Hyatt. The film’s original music is composed by Thomas Newman (American Beauty, The Shawshank Redemption, 1917, Skyfall, Finding Nemo, Wall-E). Opening in around 300 theaters is the drama Supernova written and directed by Harry Macqueen and starring Colin Firth, Stanley Tucci, Pippa Haywood, Sarah Woodward and James Dreyfus. Keaton Henson (Something Better to Come, Young Men) has composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the singer/songwriter’s score today. Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Amazon original movie Bliss. The album features the film’s original music composed by Will Bates (Unbelievable, Away, The Magicians, I Origins, The Path, The Looming Tower, Another Earth). Also included is the original song You And I written by Bates and featuring vocals by Skye Edwards of Morcheeba (click here to stream/download the track and check out the official music video after the jump). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 5 and is now available for pre-order here. Bliss is written and directed by Mike Cahill and stars Salma Hayek, Owen Wilson, Madeline Zima, Nesta Cooper and Joshua Leonard. The sci-fi drama tells the story of an unfulfilled man who, after recently being divorced and then fired, meets a mysterious woman living on the streets and convinced that the polluted, broken world around them is just a computer simulation. HAIM to Compose Original Music for Netflix’s ‘The Witch Boy’

Netflix announced today that the Grammy Award-nominated band HAIM will contribute original music to the Netflix animated musical The Witch Boy. The film directed by Minkyu Lee (Adam and Dog) is based on the graphic novel series of the same nam by Molly Knox Ostertag. The movie is set in a magical community where girls are born to be witches and boys grow into shapeshifters and follows the title character who discovers he has emerging witch powers. Maria Melnik (Escape Room) is writing the screenplay. Roy Lee (The LEGO Movie, It, Doctor Sleep), Miri Yoon (Behaving Badly) and Ryan Harris (The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run) are producing the project for Vertigo Entertainment.
