Glaz Records has released a soundtrack album for the French limited series The Red and the Black (Le rouge et le noir). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Les Garçons (Sharon Stone: Survival Instinct, Un autre père) . The Red and the Black is created by Georges-Marc Benamoud based on the work by Stendhal and stars Victor Belmondo, Virginie Ledoyen, Camille Razat, Patrick Timsit, Patrick Mille, Théo Cholbi, Romane Bohringer, Sophie Guillemin, Zoé Adjani and Fred Testot. The 4-part period drama directed by Gaël Morel tells the story of brilliant yet deeply conflicted young man torn between two women and whose greatness leads him down a path where love, pride, and hypocrisy collide – with tragic consequences. The series is premiering tonight on France 2 and is also available to stream on france.tv.
