Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the supernatural horror thriller The Empty Man. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, Ghost Rider, Sinister, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Entrapment, The Shipping News, The Hurricane) and Lustmord (First Reformed, Evolve). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 23 and will be available on Amazon (and other digital music stores), where you can also check out audio clips. The Empty Man is written and directed by David Prior and stars James Badge Dale, Marin Ireland, Stephen Root, Ron Canada, Robert Aramayo, Joel Courtney and Sasha Frolova. The movie is based on the graphic novel by Cullen Bunn and follows a retired cop who investigates the disappearnace of a group of teens from a small Midwestern town and discovers a secretive group and their attempts to summon a horrific, mystical entity. Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC and Netflix limited series A Suitable Boy. The album features the show’s original music composed by Golden Globe nominee Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, Queen of Katwe, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, 11.22.63, Touching the Void) and Anoushka Shankar. Also included are songs performed by Kavita Seth and other music from the drama. The soundtrack will be released overseas digitally tomorrow, October 23. A CD version is also in the works.
