He has also composed the original score for the film written and directed by Sian Heder (Tallulah, Little America) and starring Emilia Jones, Eugenio Derbez, Troy Kotsur, Ferdia Walsh-Peelo, Daniel Durant and Marlee Matlin. The movie tells the story of the only hearing member of a deaf family as she joins her high school’s choir club and dinds herself drawn to both her duet partner and her latent passion for singing. Long Distance has released a soundtrack album for the French mini-series De Gaulle, L’éclat et le secret. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Armand Amar (The Concert, Mia and the White Lion, The Source, A Bag of Marbles, The History of Love, Belle & Sebastian). Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British series All Creatures Great and Small written by Ben Vanstone based on the classic BBC programme, directed by Brian Percival and starring Nicholas Ralph, Samuel West, Anna Madeley, Callum Woodhouse and Rachel Shenton The show’s original music is composed by Alexandra Harwood (The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, The Escape, Growing Up Wild). All3Media & Playground Television have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score when the drama premiered in the UK last year. Also premiering today is the HBO documentary Tiger directed by Matthew Heineman & Matthew Hamachek about the rise, fall, and epic comeback of global icon Tiger Woods. H. The show is directed by Tiller Russell (The Last Narc, Operation Odessa, The Last Rites of Ransom Pride) and tells the true story of how one of the most notorious serial killers in American history was hunted down and brought to justice. The 4-parter is told through first-person interviews, archival footage and original photography and paints a portrait of how it felt to live in fear at a time when absolutely anyone could be the Night Stalker’s next victim. Opening in select theaters and virtual cinemas today is the documentary The Reason I Jump directed by Jerry Rothwell. The film’s original music is composed by Nainita Desai (For Sama, American Murder: The Family Next Door, Enslaved, Enemy Within, Telling Lies). Mercury Classics will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score on April 16.
