The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on February 12, 2021 by Monkey Puzzle/Atlantic Records and is now available for pre-order here. Several tracks (Together, Hey Boy, Saved My Life & Courage to Change) are already available to stream/download now. Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Bad Boys for Life, The Lego Batman Movie, Genius, The Crown) has been hired to score the upcoming drama The Forgiven. The film is written and directed by John Michael McDonagh (The Guard, Calvary) and stars Ralph Fiennes, Jessica Chastain, Saïd Taghmaoui, Caleb Landry Jones, Matt Smith, Christopher Abbott, Ismael Kanater, Marie-Josée Croze, Alex Jennings and Abbey Lee. The movie based on the novel of the same title by Lawrence Osborne takes place over a weekend in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, and explores the reverberations of a random accident on the lives of both the locals and western visitors to a house party in a grand villa. Music Box Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2003 drama Cold Mountain directed by Anthony Minghella and starring Jude Law, Nicole Kidman, Renée Zellweger, Brendan Gleeson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Natalie Portman, Eileen Atkins, Jack White, Giovanni Ribisi, Donald Sutherland and Ray Winstone. The 2-CD set features the expanded and remastered score from the Miramax production composed by Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley, 1408, Judy, The Life Ahead, Betty Blue, City of Angels) who received an Academy Award nomination for his music. The first disc includes the composer’s score in chronological order and the second disc features the original Academy Awards promo album, including variations, unused tracks and alternates. The film is directed by Michèle Ohayon (Colors Straight Up, Cowboy del Amor) and focuses on a diverse and vibrant group of women who heal their trauma and body image issues through sensual movement and the art of pole dancing. The movie follows women of all walks of life, all ages and ethnic backgrounds, as they shed trauma, shame, body image, sexual abuse and other issues locked in their bodies, and embark on a journey to reclaim themselves.
