Murray Gold is the composer of the new Channel 4 & HBO Max limited series It’s a Sin. The show is created by Russell T. Davies and stars Olly Alexander, Omari Douglas, Callum Scott Howell, Keeley Hawes, Stephen Fry, Neil Patrick Harris, Tracy Ann Oberman, Shaun Dooley, Nathaniel Curtis and Lydia West. The 5-part drama explores friendship and love during the 1980s AIDS crisis through the eyes of three young gay men as they embark on a new life in London. Davies is also executive producing the with Peter Hoar (who also directed all episodes) and Nicola Shindler (Happy Valley, Traces). Murray (Gentleman Jack, Quiz) has previously collaborated with Davies on several other shows, including Doctor Who, Torchwood, A Very British Scandal and Years and Years. It’s a Sin will premiere in the UK this coming Friday, January on Channel 4 and will debut in the U.S. on HBO Max later this year.
