Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the drama Son of the South. The album features the film’s original music composed by Steven Argila (Wayne, Max Steel, Mad About You, Basmati Blues). Son of the South is written and directed by Barry Alexander Brown and stars Lucas Till, Lex Scott Davis, Lucy Hale and Julia Ormond. Wave Theory Records has announced the world premiere release of the original score from the 1977 drama 3 Women directed by Robert Altman and starring Shelley Duvall, Sissy Spacek and Janice Rule. Gerald Busby has written the film’s score, which features performances from flautist Michael Parloff and a host of other talented musicians selected by composer John Williams for their ability to perform contemporary music.
