Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack for the Freeform original series Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments. The EP features six songs from the show, including the theme song This is the Hunt by Ruelle, as well as original tracks performed by actor Alberto Rosende, Birthday, Liam O’Donnell and Sierra Deaton. The soundtrack will be released this Friday, July 21 and will be available to download on Amazon. Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments is based on the book series The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare and stars Katherine McNamara, Dominic Sherwood, Alberto Rosende, Emeraude Toubia, Matthew Daddario, Isaiah Mustafa, David Castro and Harry Shum Jr. The show’s second season currently airs Monday nights on Freeform.

Discovery’s ‘Manhunt: Unabomber’ to Feature Music by Gregory Tripi
Gregory Tripi is currently scoring the upcoming Discovery anthology mini-series Manhunt: Unabomber. The show is created by Andrew Sodroski and stars Sam Worthington, Paul Bettany, Chris Noth, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Jane Lynch, Mark Duplass, Brian d’Arcy James, Trieste Kelly Dunn, Elizabeth Reaser and Rebecca Henderson. The drama’s first season tells the true story of how the FBI tracked down notorious Unabomber Ted Kaczynski, told from the point of view of the FBI profiler in charge of the manhunt. Sodroski is also executive producing the project with Greg Yaitanes (Banshee, House) who serves as the showrunner.
Siddhartha Khosla to Score CBS’ ‘Me, Myself & I’
Siddhartha Khosla is set to compose the score for the upcoming CBS comedy Me, Myself & I. The show is created by Dan Kopelman (Rules of Engagement) and stars Bobby Moynihan, Jack Dylan Grazer, Brian Unger, Jaleel White, Kelen Coleman, Skylar Gray, Christopher Paul Richards, Mandell Maughan, Reylynn Caster, Sharon Lawrence and John Larroquette. The series examines one man’s life over a 50-year span and focus on three distinct periods in his life – as a 14-year-old in 1991, a 40-year-old in present day, and a 65-year-old in 2042.
‘The Loch’ Soundtrack Released
ITV Studios has released a soundtrack album for the mini-series The Loch. The album features the music from the 6-parter composed by Ben Bartlett (Walking with Dinosaurs, The Mark of Cain, The Ballad of Big Al). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The Loch is created by Stephen Brady (Fortitude, Vera) and stars Laura Fraser, Siobhan Finneran, William Ash, Jack Bannon, Don Gilét, John Heffernan, Simone Lahbib and Alastair Mackenzie. The crime drama takes place in a community nourished and sustained by myth, where the search for a serial killer becomes a matter of life and death for a local detective who is trying to cope with her first murder case.
‘Fargo’ Year 3 Soundtrack Details
Sony Classical will release a new soundtrack album for the FX original series Fargo. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jeff Russo (Legion, The Night Of, Power, Snowfall) who recently received his third Emmy Award nomination for his work on the drama. Also included is Russo’s & show creator Noah Hawley’s cover version of the song Ship of Fools from the episode The House of Special Purpose. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on August 4, 2017 and is now available for pre-order here. The label has previously released two soundtracks featuring Russo’s score from Season 1 & 2, as well as an album featuring the songs from the second season.

Premiering tomorrow, July 17, is the new AMC and Channel 4 original series Loaded developed by Jon Brown based on the Israeli comedy drama Mesudarim and starring Jim Howick, Samuel Anderson, Jonny Sweet, Nick Helm and Mary McCormack. The show’s original music is composed by Jack C. Arnold (Albatross, War Book). Loaded revolves around the lives of three tech entrepreneurs and friends who have just sold their start up videogame company for hundreds of millions of pounds. Premiering on Friday, July 21, is the Disney Channel original movie Descendants 2 directed by Kenny Ortega and starring Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart, China Anne McClain, Thomas Doherty, Dylan Playfair and Mitchell Hope. David Lawrence (American Pie, High School Musical) has composed the film’s original score. Walt Disney Records has will release a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the show this Friday. The show is created by actress Andrea Savage (Veep, Episodes) who also stars in the comedy as a confident comedy writer, wife and mom, who comically exposes her inner immaturity and neuroses through unexpected life situations. Tom Everett Scott, Olive Petrucci, Jason Mantzoukas, Nelson Franklin, Martin Mull and Kathy Baker are co-starring. Freeform’s ‘The Bold Type’ to Feature Music by Lyle Workman
Lyle Workman is composing the original score for the new Freeform original series The Bold Type. The show is created by Sarah Watson (Parenthood, Pure Genius) and stars Melora Hardin, Katie Stevens, Sam Page, Aisha Dee, Meghann Fahy and Matt Ward. The drama is inspired by the life of “Cosmopolitan” editor in chief, Joanna Coles and follows the outrageous lives and loves of those responsible for a global women’s magazine. Watson is also executive producing the Universal Television production with Coles, David Bernad (Superstore, The D Train) and Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland, Gangster Squad).
‘Riverdale’ Score Album Details
The full details of the first score album for the CW drama Riverdale have been announced. The album features selections of original score from the show’s first season composed by Blake Neely (The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, The Pacific, Everwood). The CD version is limited to 3000 copies and will be available to order on La-La Land Records’ website later today and is already available for pre-order on Amazon. WaterTower Music has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the series’ first season. Riverdale developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa based on the characters by Archie Comics stars Lili Reinhart, KJ Apa, Ashleigh Murray, Asha Bromfield, Hayley Law, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Luke Perry, Marisol Nichols and Mädchen Amick.
Adam Berry Scoring Disney XD’s ‘Big Hero 6: The Series’
Adam Berry is composing the music for the upcoming Disney XD series Big Hero 6. The show is based on the 2014 feature (scored by Henry Jackman) and features the voices of Maya Rudolph, Jamie Chung, Stan Lee, Scott Adsit, Alan Tudyk, Ryan Potter, Genesis Rodriguez and David Shaughnessy who will reprise their characters from the movie. They are joined by Khary Payton and Brooks Wheelan. The series continues the adventures and friendship of 14-year-old Hiro and his compassionate, cutting-edge robot Baymax.
