Will Blair & Brooke Blair (Green Room, Hold the Dark, I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore, Black Christmas, Blue Ruin) have recently scored the new Netflix docu-series Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer. The show is directed by Tiller Russell (The Last Narc, Operation Odessa, The Last Rites of Ransom Pride) and tells the true story of how one of the most notorious serial killers in American history was hunted down and brought to justice. The 4-parter is told through first-person interviews, archival footage and original photography and paints a portrait of how it felt to live in fear at a time when absolutely anyone could be the Night Stalker’s next victim.

Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Lupin’ Released
Maisie Music Publishing has released a soundtrack album for the French Netflix original series Lupin. The album features selections of the original music from the first part of the show composed by Mathieu Lamboley (A Minuscule Adventure, Daddy Cool, Return of the Hero, Sisters in Arms). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio clips. Lupin is created by George Kay & François Uzan and stars Omar Sy, Ludivine Sagnier, Nicole Garcia, Clotilde Hesme, Soufiane Guerrab, Hervé Pierre, Antoine Gouy, Vincent Londez, Fargass Assandé and Shirine Boutella.
Jeff Richmond Scoring NBC’s ‘Mr. Mayor’
Jeff Richmond is the composer of the new NBC comedy Mr. Mayor. The show is created by Tina Fey & Robert Carlock and stars Ted Danson, Holly Hunter, Vella Lovell, Kyla Kenedy, Mike Cabellon and Bobby Moynihan. The series follows a retired businessman who runs for mayor of Los Angeles to prove he’s “still got it” and, once he wins, has to figure out what he stands for, gain the respect of his biggest critic and connect with his teenage daughter.
Natalie Holt Scoring Marvel’s Disney+ Series ‘Loki’
Natalie Holt (Journey’s End, Knightfall, Deadwater Fell, Press) is currently scoring Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ original series Loki. The show is directed by Kate Herron and stars Tom Hiddleston in the title role, alongside Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. The 6-parter takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame and follows the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow. Michael Waldron (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) serves as the project’s head writer.
First Songs from ‘Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist’ Season 2 Soundtrack Released
Lionsgate Records has released the first songs from the second season of the NBC musical comedy drama Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. Available to stream/download now are the covers from the first episode of Season 2, including Hello, Dolly! from Jerry Herman’s musical of the same title, Jet’s Are You Gonna Be My Girl (performed by Skylar Astin & John Clarence Stewart) and Fun’s Carry On (performed by Andrew Leeds, Mary Steenburgen & Alice Lee). Listen to all three tracks below. More songs from Season 2 will be released weekly over the next weeks. Republic Records has previously released multiple EPs and singles featuring the songs from the show’s first season.
50 Cent’s ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’ Theme Song ‘Part of the Game’ Released
G-Unit Records has released the theme song for the upcoming Starz original series Power Book III: Raising Kanan. The track is performed by 50 Cent (who serves as an executive producer on the show) feat. NLE Choppa & Rileyy Lanez. The track is now available to stream/download as a digital single here. Also check out the official music video after the jump. Power Book III: Raising Kanan is created by Sascha Penn and stars Mekai Curtis, Patina Miller, Omar Epps, Lovie Simone and Hailey Kilgore. The drama, which explores the early life of Power character Kanan Stark (portrayed by 50 Cent in the original series), will premiere this summer on Starz.
‘Cobra Kai’ Seasons 2 & 3 Deluxe Edition Soundtracks Announced
La-La Land Records has announced two new soundtrack albums for the Netflix original series Cobra Kai featuring the original score from the show’s second and third seasons composed by Leo Birenberg (Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, Son of Zorn, PEN15) & Zach Robinson (Impractical Jokers: The Movie, Die Hart). The Season 2 album features all tracks from the original 2019 soundtrack, as well as ten previously unreleased bonus tracks (visit Amazon or the label’s official website to order the CD). The Season 3 soundtrack features 19 bonus tracks not included on the digital release, which is set to come out this coming Friday (click here to order the 2-CD set). Both albums are set to be released on January 19. The label has previously released the CD version of the Season 1 soundtrack.
Fox’s ‘The Great North’ to Feature Original Score by John Kimbrough & Scott Seiver
John Kimbrough (Man with a Plan, Winter Passing, Man Up!) & Scott Seiver are co-scoring the new Fox animated comedy The Great North. The show is created and written by Wendy Molyneux, Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin & Minty Lewis and features the voices of Nick Offerman, Jenny Slate, Megan Mullally, Will Forte, Dulcé Sloan, Paul Rust and Aparna Nancherla. The series follows the Alaskan adventures of the Tobin family, as a single dad does his best to keep his kids close – especially his only daughter whose artistic dreams lead her away from the family fishing boat and into the glamorous world of the local mall.
Anna Waronker Scoring Fox’s ‘Call Me Kat’
Singer/songwriter Anna Waronker is the composer of the new Fox comedy Call Me Kat. The show is based on the British series Miranda created by Miranda Hart and stars Mayim Bialik, Swoosie Kurtz, Leslie Jordan, Kyla Pratt, Cheyenne Jackson and Julian Gant. The series revolves around a woman who struggles every day against society and her mother to prove that she can live a happy and fulfilling life despite still being single at 39. Darlene Hunt (The Big C) is the project’s showrunner and is also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television and FOX Entertainment production with Hart, Bialik, Jim Parsons, Todd Spiewak (Young Sheldon), Angie Stephenson (The Night Of), as well as Beth McCarthy-Miller who also directed the first episode.

Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British television movie Elizabeth Is Missing directed by Aisling Walsh, written by Andrea Gibb based on Emma Healey’s novel and starring Glenda Jackson, Helen Behan, Sophie Rundle, Liv Hill, Nell Williams, Mark Stanley, Maggie Steed and Sam Hazeldine. Dominik Scherrer (The Missing, Requiem, Marple, Ripper Street, Primeval) has composed the film’s original music. The drama, which revolves aroun a woman affected by dementia who struggles to solve the disappearance of her friend, premiered in the UK in late 2019 on BBC One and is making its domestic debut on PBS as part of the Masterpiece series.
