Madison Gate Records will release the first soundtrack album for the Hulu original series Woke. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Haim Mazar (The Iceman, Sneakerheads, The Taking of Deborah Logan, I Am Wrath). Also included is the Woke main title theme by Stanley Clarke (Boyz n the Hood, Passenger 57 , Undercover Brother, The Transporter). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 8. ‘Tokyo Vice’ Soundtrack Album Details
Endeavor Content & Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the HBO Max original series Tokyo Vice. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, The White Tiger, The Outsider, The Gift, Enemy, Boy Erased, The Devil All the Time, Enemy, The One I Love). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 8 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Tokyo Vice is created by J.T. Rogers and stars Ansel Elgort, Ken Watanabe, Rinko Kikuchi, Hideaki Ito, Rachel Keller, Show Kasamatsu, Ella Rumpf and Tomohisa Yamashita. The crime drama is inspired by journalist Jake Adelstein’s non-fiction first-hand account of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police beat and follows his daily descent into the neon-soaked underbelly of Tokyo in the late ‘90s.

Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the BBC natural history series The Green Planet. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Benji Merrison (SAS: Red Notice, General Magic, The Beatles and India) & Will Slater (Dynasties). The soundtrack will be released digitally on Friday, April 22 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The Green Planet narrated by David Attenborough and executive produced by Michael Gunton takes place across five worlds – tropical, water, seasonal, desert and human and shows these worlds from a plant’s eye view.
Harry Escott Scoring BritBox’s ‘Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?’
Harry Escott (Shame, Hard Candy, Roadkill, Welcome to the Punch, The English Game) has composed the original music for the new BritBox limited series Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?. The show is directed and adapted by Hugh Laurie based on the Agatha Christie’s 1934 novel of the same title and stars Will Poulter, Lucy Boynton, Maeve Dermod, Conleth Hill, Miles Jupp, Amy Nuttall, Laurie himself, as well as Jim Broadbent and Emma Thompson. The 3-part murder mystery follows the local Vicar’s son and his whip-smart friend on their crime-solving adventure after they discover the crumpled body of a dying man.
Soundtrack Album for BBC’s ‘Mood’ Released
EMI Records has released a soundtrack album for the BBC series Mood. The album features the songs from the show co-written and performed by the drama’s star Nicôle Lecky. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Mood is created by Lecky based on her Royal Court play (Superhoe) and stars herself, Jordan Duvigneau, Jessica Hynes, Paul Kaye, Mia Jenkins, Mohammad Dalmar and Lara Peake. The series revolves around an aspiring musician who spends her days smoking weed, stalking her ex-boyfriend on Instagram and avoiding her mum, stepdad and sister.
‘Euphoria’ Season 2 Score Album Details
Columbia Records will release a new score album for the HBO original series Euphoria. The album features the original score from the show’s second season composed by Emmy Award winner Labrinth. Also included are the songs I’m Tired by Labrinth & Zendaya and Elliot’s Song by Dominic Fike, Zendaya & Labrinth, which are also featured on the official Season 2 soundtrack album, which was released last month. The score album will be released digitally on April 22 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Milan Records has previously released the first score album featuring Labrinth’s Emmy Award-nominated music from Season 1. Euphoria is created by Sam Levinson and stars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Algee Smith, Angus Cloud, Nika King and Sydney Sweeney.

Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, The Outsider, Boy Erased, The Gift, Enemy, The White Tiger, Martha Marcy May Marlene) are scoring the upcoming HBO Max limited series The Staircase. The show is created by Antonio Campos and stars Colin Firth, Toni Collette, Michael Stuhlbarg, Dane DeHaan, Juliette Binoche, Olivia DeJonge, Rosemarie DeWitt, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tim Guinee, Sophie Turner, Vincent Vermignon, Odessa Young and Parker Posey. The 8-part true crime drama tells the true story of Michael Peterson, his sprawling North Carolina family, and the suspicious death of his wife, Kathleen Peterson.
‘Star Trek Collection – The Final Frontier’ Soundtrack Album Announced
La-La Land Records has announced the album Star Trek Collection- The Final Frontier, a new 4-CD set featuring previously unreleased music from Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise. The first disc includes “lost cues” from Star Trek: The Motion Picture written by Jerry Goldsmith (but never recorded) and performed by Joe Kraemer (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher), as well as music from The Next Generation composed by Dennis McCarthy and Jay Chattaway. The second disc includes previously unreleased music from Deep Space Nine written by McCarthy, Chattaway, David Bell and Paul Baillargeon. The third disc features tracks from Voyager composed by Chattaway & Bell and the fourth disc includes selections of music from Enterprise written by McCarthy, Baillargeon, Bell, Kevin Kiner and Velton Ray Bunch.
