Madison Gate Records will release the first soundtrack album for the Hulu original series Woke. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Haim Mazar (The Iceman, Sneakerheads, The Taking of Deborah Logan, I Am Wrath). Also included is the Woke main title theme by Stanley Clarke (Boyz n the Hood, Passenger 57 , Undercover Brother, The Transporter). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 8. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack. Woke is created by Keith Knight & Marshall Todd and stars Lamorne Morris, Blake Anderson, Rose McIver, T. Murph and Sasheer Zamata. The comedy revolves around an African-American cartoonist who finds himself on the verge of mainstream success when an unexpected incident changes his life. The series’ second season will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Hulu.
