Globomedia has released a new soundtrack album for the Spanish TV series Express. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Sergio Jiménez Lacima (Solo, Wax, Viral, The Challenge: ETA). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. A first album featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 was released last year. Express is created by Iván Escobar and stars Maggie Civantos, Vicente Romero, Esteban Meloni, Loreto Mauleón, Kiti Mánver, Alba Planas, Omar Banana, Ana Marzoa, Bernardo Flores Manuela Rojas and Carmen Daza.

‘Doctor Who’ – ‘Revenge of the Cybermen’ & ‘Time and the Rani’ Soundtracks Announced
Silva Screen Records has announced two new soundtrack albums for the original Doctor Who series created by Sydney Newman, C. E. Webber & Donald Wilson. Titles include the Season 12 finale, Revenge of the Cybermen, which first premiered in 1975 and stars Tom Baker as the fourth Doctor, featuring music by Carey Blyton with Peter Howell and the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. The second title is the first serial of the 24th season, Time and the Rani, which premiered in 1987 and stars Sylvester McCoy as the seventh Doctor and features music by Keff McCulloch. The album features the content of the original Season 3 album, including the original score composed by Siddhartha Khosla and the song Look for the Light performed by cast members Meryl Streep & Ashley Park, as well as Which of the Pickwick Triplets Did It? performed by Steve Martin (previously released as a digital single), Creatures of the Night written by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul and performed by Martin Short, For the Sake of a Child (in two different versions) written by Pasek/Paul & Michael R. Jackson and performed by Streep, Paul Rudd & Short, Love’s Old Sweet Song written by James Lynam Molloy & Graham Clifton Bingham and performed by Jason Veasey and Meet Me Tonight in Dreamland written by Leo Friedman & Beth Slater Whitson and performed by Veasey. ‘Castlevania: Nocturne’ Soundtrack Album Details
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original animated series Castlevania: Nocturne. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Trevor Morris (Vikings, Olympus/London Has Fallen, Immortals, The Tudors, The Borgias) who previously scored Netflix’s original Castlevania series and Trey Toy (Centigrade, Another Life), the new version of the Divine Bloodlines theme, as well as the opera pieces performed by Sydney James Harcourt (who stars as Edouard). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 6 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.
Aisling Brouwer & Anna Phoebe Scoring Apple TV+’s ‘The Buccaneers’
Aisling Brouwer (White Riot, Lioness: The Nicola Adams Story) & Anna Phoebe (Savage Waters) (aka AVAWAVES) are the composers of the upcoming British Apple TV+ original series The Buccaneers. The show is created by Katherine Jakeways and stars Kristine Frøseth, Alisha Boe, Josie Totah, Christina Hendricks, Imogen Waterhouse, Aubri Ibrag, Mia Threapleton, Guy Remmers, Josh Dylan, Matthew Broome and Barney Fishwick. The 8-part drama is inspired by Edith Wharton’s unfinished final novel of the same title and follows a group of fun-loving young American girls who explode into the tightly corseted London season of the 1870s, kicking off an Anglo-American culture clash.

The show’s original music is composed by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Dune, Gladiator) and David Fleming (The Last of Us, Hillbilly Elegy). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score earlier this year. Mokadelic (Gomorrah, Romulus, The Immortal) have composed the show’s original music. Radiocattleya has released a soundtrack featuring the psychedelic post-rock collective’s score earlier this year when the series premiered overseas on Sky. BBC’s ‘Planet Earth III’ to Feature Music by Hans Zimmer, Jacob Shea, Sara Barone, Russell Emanuel & Bastille’s Dan Smith
BBC announced today that Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Dune, The Dark Knight, Inception), Jacob Shea (Seven Worlds One Planet, Blue Planet II), Sara Barone (Grimcutty), producer Russell Emanuel (of Bleeding Fingers Music) and Bastille’s Dan Smith have collaborated to create the score for the upcoming nature documentary series Planet Earth III. Smith’s vocals will also be featured on the show’s opening title theme song, as well as within all episodes of the series and a reworking of Bastille’s single, Pompeii entitled Pompeii MMXXIII, plays during the project’s end credits. A first track (entitled Mother Nature) created and performed by Zimmer, singer/songwriter RAYE and Bastille, in collaboration with composer collective Bleeding Fingers Music, can be heard in the first teaser trailer (embedded below).
