Will Bates (Unbelievable, The Magicians, The Path, Away, I Origins, The Looming Tower) has composed the original music for the upcoming British comedy The Estate. The film is written and directed by Dean Craig (Love Wedding Repeat, Death at a Funeral) and stars Toni Collette, Anna Faris, David Duchovny, Kathleen Turner, Rosemarie DeWitt and Ron Livingston. The movie follows two sisters who plot to win the inheritance of their cantankerous, terminally ill aunt, but find other relatives have equally devious designs on the family fortune.

‘Devil in Ohio’ Soundtrack EP Released
Netflix Music has released a soundtrack EP for the Netflix limited series Devil in Ohio. The EP features four songs from the show, including The Gift of the Rose written by Isabella Summers (of Florence & The Machine) and performed by herself & Elise McQueen, Salvation From the Dawn by series composer Will Bates (Unbelievable, I Origins, The Magicians) feat. Maiah Manser, Lessons of the Fire co-written (with Bates) and performed by Bishop Briggs, and a cover of the folk song The Water is Wide performed by Fay Wolf. Will Bates (Unbelievable, The Magicians, I Origins, The Path, Away, The Lost Symbol, The Looming Tower) is the composer of the new Netflix limited series Devil in Ohio. The show is created by Daria Polatin based on her own novel and stars Emily Deschanel, Sam Jaeger, Gerardo Celasco, Xaria Dotson, Madeleine Arthur, Alisha Newton and Naomi Tan. The 8-part thriller follows a hospital psychiatrist who shelters a mysterious cult escapee and whose world is turned upside down as the strange girl’s arrival threatens to tear her own family apart.

The show is developed by Dan Dworkin & Jay Beattie based on Dan Brown’s best-selling novel of the same title and stars Ashley Zukerman, Valorie Curry, Sumalee Montano, Rick Gonzalez, Eddie Izzard and Beau Knapp. The drama follows the early adventures of young Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon who must solve a series of deadly puzzles to save his kidnapped mentor and thwart a chilling global conspiracy.

The thriller follows a young couple who find themselves becoming interested in the sex life of their neighbors across the street and whose innocent curiosity turns into an unhealthy obsession, after they discover that one neighbor is cheating.
