Premiering tonight is the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie One Christmas Eve directed by Jay Russell and starring Anne Heche. The film’s original music is composed by William Ross (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, The Tale of Desperaux) who previously scored Russell’s Ladder 49, My Dog Skip and Tuck Everlasting and Jerome Leroy. Momentum RLP Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score earlier this week. Premiering on Tuesday, December 2, is the Disney/Pixar holiday special Toy Story That Time Forgot directed by Steve Purcell and featuring the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Kristen Schaal, Kevin McKidd, Wallace Shawn, Timothy Dalton, Don Rickles and Joan Cusack. Michael Giacchino (Star Trek, Lost, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) who previously scored last year’s Toy Story of Terror, as well as Pixar’s The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Up and Cars 2 has composed the special’s original music. Robert Duncan is set to score the upcoming ABC drama pilot for Sea of Fire. The show is created by Jenna Bans (Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy) and stars Jennifer Carpenter, Jack Davenport, Jeffrey Nordling, Isabelle Cornish and Christina Chang. The drama is based on the Dutch series Vuurzee and follows three teenage girls who star in an illicit film, which tears their families apart and leads to a disappearance and a murder. Rob Goldenberg & Alon Aranya (Betrayal), David Hoberman & Todd Lieberman (The Fighter, Warm Bodies, The Muppets), Robert Kievit & Frank Ketelaar and Laurie Zaks (Castle) are executive producing the Sony Pictures Television, ABC Studios, Scripted World and Mandeville production. 
Last night, Lifetime premiered the original movie The Gabby Douglas Story directed by Gregg Champion (The Cowboy Way) and starring Imani Hakim, Sydney Mikaylain, Regina King and S. Epatha Merkerson. The film’s original music is composed by Robert Duncan (Castle, Last Resort, Buffy the Vampire Slayer). Robert Duncan has been hired to score the Lifetime original movie The Gabby Douglas Story. The film is directed by Gregg Champion (The Cowboy Way, Amish Grace) and stars Imani Hakim and Sydney Mikaylain the title role as the first African American ever to be named Individual All-round Champion in artistic gymnastics at the Olympics. Mikayla will portray Douglas during her childhood while Hakim will play the gold medalist as a teenager and young adult. Regina King has been cast as Douglas’ mother and S. Epatha Merkerson as her grandmother. The drama’s script written by Maria Nation (The Two Mr. Kissels). Zev Braun & Philip Krupp (Edges of the Lord, A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story) are executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production and David Rosemont (Lifetime’s Bonnie & Clyde) serves as a producer.

A soundtrack album for ABC’s critically acclaimed series Last Resort will be released next week.
