La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere score album for the 1994 action comedy Beverly Hills Cop III directed by John Landis and starring Eddie Murphy, Judge Reinhold, Héctor Elizondo and Theresa Randle. The album features the original score from the Paramount Pictures production composed by Nile Rodgers (Coming to America, Alphabet City, Blue Chips). The 30th Anniversary Edition CD is limited to 1,500 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. MCA Records has previously released the original 1994 soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie and Rodgers’ cover of Harold Faltermeyer’s Axel F theme.

‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’ Soundtrack Album Details
The full details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, Bad Boys for Life & Ride or Die, The LEGO Batman Movie, Top Gun: Maverick). Harold Faltermeyer has written the original Beverly Hills Cop themes used in Balfe’s score. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Wednesday, July 3 by Netflix Music (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). Harold Faltermeyer’s ‘Beveryly Hills Cop’ & ‘Beverly Hills Cop 2’ Scores to Be Released
La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere releases of the original score for the 1984 action comedy Beverly Hills Cop directed by Martin Brest and starring Eddie Murphy & Judge Reinhold and its 1987 sequel Beverly Hills Cop II directed by Tony Scott. The albums feature the films’ original music composed by Harold Faltermeyer (Top Gun, The Running Man, Fletch, Tango & Cash). The Beverly Hills Cop album also includes the original soundtrack release’s most notable songs performed by Glenn Frey, The Pointer Sisters & more and the Beverly Hills Cop II album features songs by Bob Seger, George Michael & more. Both soundtracks are limited to 3000 copies and will be available for purchase on the label’s official website on November 29.
Robert Duncan to Score ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ TV Show
Robert Duncan is composing the score for the pilot of the new CBS show Beverly Hills Cop. The project is a continuation of the film franchise and stars Brandon T. Jackson as the police officer son of Axel Foley, played by Eddie Murphy, who takes down the criminal elements of the rich and famous in Beverly Hills while working to escape his famous father’s shadow. Murphy is expected to recur if the project goes to series. Christine Lahti, David Denman, Kevin Pollak and Sheila Vand are co-starring. Shawn Ryan (The Shield) has written the pilot and is executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production with Murphy and Marney Hochman. Duncan has previously collaborated with Ryan on such shows as The Unit, Terriers, The Chicago Code and most recently, Last Resort.
Beverly Hills Cop & Fletch score albums planned
In a recent interview with Cinematical, Harold Faltermeyer announced that albums for his scores for Beverly Hills Cop and Fletch are in the works. The label he’s working with is La-La-Land Records and the intention would be to release the complete scores.
