La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere score album for the 1988 comedy Coming to America directed by John Landis and starring Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, James Earl Jones, John Amos, Shari Headley and Madge Sinclair. The album features the film’s original score composed by Nile Rodgers (Beverly Hills Cop III, Alphabet City, Blue Chips), as wel well as several alternate score cues, demos and bonus tracks. The soundtrack is now available to order as a CD, which is limited to 2,000 copies, on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio clips and find out more about the release. Atco Records has previously released the original 1988 soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie.

Opening in theaters nationwide is the action comedy Novocaine directed by Dan Berk & Robert Olsen and starring Jack Quaid, Amber Midthunder, Ray Nicholson, Matt Walsh, Jacob Batalon, Betty Gabriel, Lou Beatty Jr., Conrad Kemp and Van Hengst. The film’s original music is composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible: Fallout, Black Widow, Black Adam, The Wheel of Time, His Dark Materials, Top Gun: Maverick) & Andrew Kawczynski (Gran Turismo, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, The Corrupted). Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score today. ‘Opus’ Soundtrack EP Released
A24 Music has released The Moretti EP featuring three songs from the horror thriller Opus. EP features the songs Dina, Simone (previously released as a digital single), Tomorrow & 35mm written by Nile Rodgers and The-Dream and performed by lead actor John Malkovich as Albert Moretti. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A limited vinyl edition is available to order in A24’s web shop. The movie follows a writer who is invited to the remote compound of a legendary pop star who mysteriously disappeared decades ago and finds herself in the middle of his twisted plan.

La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere score album for the 1994 action comedy Beverly Hills Cop III directed by John Landis and starring Eddie Murphy, Judge Reinhold, Héctor Elizondo and Theresa Randle. The album features the original score from the Paramount Pictures production composed by Nile Rodgers (Coming to America, Alphabet City, Blue Chips). The 30th Anniversary Edition CD is limited to 1,500 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. MCA Records has previously released the original 1994 soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie and Rodgers’ cover of Harold Faltermeyer’s Axel F theme.

Platoon has released the original song Electric Energy from Matthew Vaughn’s spy action comedy Argylle. The track co-written by the film’s composer Lorne Balfe, Boy George, Vaughn, Gary Barlow & Stuart Price and performed by Ariana DeBose, Boy George himself & Nile Rodgers is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon.
