Columbia Records will release a soundtrack album for the MTV original series Scream. The album features a selection of songs from the first season of the show by artists including Phoebe Ryan, LIZ, Wet, MS MR, George Ezra, machineheart & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 14, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Scream is based on Wes Craven’s horror franchise and stars Willa Fitzgerald, Amy Forsyth, John Karna, Carlson Young, Amadeus Serafini, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Amadeus Serafini, Connor Weil, Tracy Middendorf, Jason Wiles and Bella Thorne.

Premiering tonight is the new AMC original series Humans created by Jonathan Brackley & Sam Vincent based on the Swedish TV series Real Humans and starring Gemma Chan, Katherine Parkinson, Tom Goodman-Hill, William Hurt, Will Tudor, Rebecca Front and Colin Morgan. The show’s original music is composed by Cristobal Tapia De Veer (Utopia). Humans is set in a parallel present in London where the latest must-have gadget for any busy family is a Synth – a highly developed, artificially intelligent servant eerily similar to its living counterpart. Jeremy Zuckerman is composing the score for the new MTV original series Scream. The show follows a gorgeous entitled teen at Lakewood High School who is killed in an apparent crime of passion, following her boyfriend’s murder, which exposes the inner workings of the community’s complex social hierarchy.

Premiering tonight is the new HBO original series Togetherness created and executive produced by Mark & Jay Duplass and starring Amanda Peet, Melanie Lynskey, Mark Duplass and Steve Zissis. The show’s original music is composed by Michael Andrews (Neighbors, Bridesmaids, Donnie Darko) who previously scored the Duplass Brothers’ features Cyrus and Jeff Who Lives at Home. The series about two couples who are living under the same Los Angeles roof and who are struggling in their relationships while dealing with their individual problems will every Sunday night on HBO. Premiering tomorrow, January 12, is the new MTV original drama Eye Candy based on the book by R.L. Stine, executive produced by Jason Blum and starring Victoria Justice, Casey Deidrick, Harvey Guillen, Kiersey Clemons and John Garet Stoker. Dino Meneghin (Teen Wolf) is composing the show’s original score. Eye Candy follows a tech genius who is persuaded by her roommate to begin online dating and begins to suspect that one of her mysterious suitors might be a deadly cyber stalker. David Williams Scoring MTV’s ‘The Dorm’
David Williams has recently composed the score for the upcoming psychological thriller The Dorm. The film is directed by Rachel Talalay (Tank Girl, Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare) and stars Alexis Knapp, Cassie Steele and Max Lloyd Jones. The movie follows a student who begins college as a shy, self-consciousness freshman and undergoes a complete transformation into a flawless, seductive beauty at the hands of her new dorm mates. Sean Hood (Halloween: Resurrection, Conan the Barbarian) has written the screenplay and Mike Frisley & Chad Oakes (Fargo) are producing the MTV and Sony Pictures production.
Josh Kramon to Score The CW’s ‘iZombie’ and MTV’s ‘Happyland’
Josh Kramon is composing the score for the CW drama pilot iZombie. The show based on the DC Comics title of the same title is created by Rob Thomas & Diane Ruggiero and stars Rose McIver, Robert Buckley, Malcolm Goodwin, Alexandra Krosney and David Anders. The supernatural procedural and follows a medical student-turned-zombie who takes a job in the coroner’s office in order to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat so that she can maintain her humanity. Thomas is directing the pilot episode and also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television production with Ruggerio, Danielle Stokdyk and Dan Etheridge. Kramon has previously collaborated with Thomas and the producers on the Veronica Mars show and its recent movie version, as well as Party Down and Cupid.

Premiering on October 16 is the CW drama Emily Owens, M.D. created by Jennie Snyder Urman (Something Borrowed) and starring Mamie Gummer, Justin Hartley, Michael Rady, Aja Naomi King, Kelly McCreary and Necar Zadegan. The show’s score is composed by Jim Dooley (Pushing Daisies, When a Stranger Calls). The series follows a newly minted doctor looking for a fresh start in the adult professional world, who discovers that life at the hospital where she works is no different than high school. David Schwartz to Score NBC’s ‘The Playboy Club’
David Schwartz has signed on to score the NBC drama The Playboy Club. The show is set against the background of the political and moral changes in the 1960s and follows the legendary Playboy Club in Chicago. Eddie Cibrian stars as a Chicago attorney who is also a keyholder at the glamorous club. The series is created by Chad Hodge (Tru Calling, Runaway) and Amber Heard, Leah Renee, Jenna Dewan, Laura Benanti, David Krumholtz, Naturi Naughton and Wes Ramsey are co-starring. Alan Taylor (The Emperor’s New Clothes, The Sopranos) has directed the pilot. Brian Grazer is among the show’s producers through his Imagine Television company (24, Friday Night Lights, Parenthood).
