Opening in theaters nationwide today is the drama Cry Macho directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Eastwood himself, Eduardo Minett, Natalia Traven, Fernanda Urrejola, Dwight Yoakam and Horacio Garcia-Rojas. The film’s original music is composed by Mark Mancina (Moana, Tarzan, Bad Boys, Speed, Twister, August Rush, Training Day). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as an original song performed by Will Banister last week. Also opening wide is the action thriller Copshop directed by Joe Carnahan and starring Gerard Butler, Frank Grillo, Alexis Louder and Toby Huss. Clinton Shorter (District 9, The Expanse, 2 Guns, Contraband, Pompeii, Boss Level) has composed the film’s original music. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday. ‘I Love Us’ Soundtrack Album Details

DNA-Productions will release a soundtrack album for the crime drama I Love Us. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lionel Cohen (Mob Town, First We Take Brooklyn, Feral State, Blackjack: The Jackie Ryan Story). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 5 and is now available for pre-order here. I Love Us is directed by Danny A. Abeckaser and stars Katie Cassidy, Abeckaser himelf, Robert Davi, David James Elliot, Jackie Cruz, Greg Finley, Jasper Polish and Harlow Jane. The movie follows a man born into a crime syndicate as he struggles to trade his criminal ways for a married life after he falls madly in love with a single mother.

Opening in theaters nationwide today is the horror sequel A Quiet Place Part II written and directed by John Krasinski and stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe and Djimon Hounsou. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (Logan, 3:10 to Yuma, Scream, Ford v. Ferrari, World War Z, Hellboy). La-La Land Records and Paramount Music have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this week. Also opening wide (while also premiering on Disney+ with Premier Access for an additional fee) is the live-action comedy Cruella directed by Craig Gillespie and starring Emma Stone, Emma Thompson, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Mark Strong. Emily Beecham and Kirby Howell-Baptiste. Nicholas Britell (Moonlight, Succession, The Big Short, If Beale Street Could Talk, Vice) has composed the film’s original score. Walt Disney Records has released two soundtrack albums featuring the composer’s score and the songs from the movie last Friday. Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:

Opening in most theaters is the action adventure Jumanji: The Next Level directed by Jake Kasdan and starromh Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas, Awkwafina, Danny Glover and Danny DeVito. The film’s original music is composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, X-Men: First Class, Wreck-It-Ralph). Also opening wide is the drama Richard Jewell directed by Clint Eastwood starring Paul Walter Hauser, Sam Rockwell, Kathy Bates, Jon Hamm and Olivia Wilde. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. First We Take Brooklyn is co-written and directed by Danny A. Abeckaser who also stars in the film with Harvey Keitel, AnnaLynne McCord, Charlotte McKinney, Edoardo Ballerini and Kathrine Narducci. The movie follows an ex-convict who moves to New York hoping for a fresh start, when he gets dragged into a brutal turf war with the Russian mob forcing him to revisit his dark past and the survival skills he learned in prison.
