The only movie opening nationwide this weekend is the comedy Office Christmas Party directed by Josh Gordon & Will Speck and starring Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston, Olivia Munn, Kate McKinnon, Courtney B. Vance, T.J. Miller, Vanessa Bayer, Jillian Bell, Jamie Chung, Rob Corddry, Abbey Lee, Karan Soni and Matt Walsh. The film’s original score is composed by Theodore Shapiro (Ghostbusters, Tropic Thunder, The Devil Wears Prada). Opening semi-wide in around 600 theaters is the comedy The Bounce Back directed by Youssef Delara and starring Shemar Moore, Nadine Velazquez, Bill Bellamy, Sheryl Underwood and Kali Hawk. Reza Safinia (Filly Brown, The Trust, Birth of the Dragon) has composed the film’s original score. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie follows a relationship guru and best-selling author who finds himself falling for the licensed therapist who questions his methods. The comedy is being released by Viva Pictures.
