Endeavor Content & Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ anthology series Roar. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Emma, Munich: The Edge of War, Vita & Virginia, The Phantom of the Open, Vanity Fair, The Split). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 15 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Roar is created by Liz Flahive & Carly Mensch based on the book by best-selling author Cecelia Ahern and stars Nicole Kidman, Cynthia Erivo, Merritt Wever, Issa Rae, Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Fivel Stewart, Meera Syal and Kara Hayward.

‘The Phantom of the Open’ Soundtrack Album Released
Decca Records has released a soundtrack album for the British comedy drama The Phantom of the Open. The album features the film’s original music composed by Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Emma, Vita & Virginia, Munich: The Edge of War, Vanity Fair, Roar, The Split, The ABC Murders). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Phantom of the Open is directed by Craig Roberts and stars Mark Rylance, Sally Hawkins and Rhys Ifans. The movie based on Simon Farnaby’s & Scott Murray’s book of the same title tells the true story of Maurice Flitcroft, a dreamer and unrelenting optimist who managed to gain entry to The British Open Golf Championship Qualifying in 1976 and subsequently shot the worst round in Open history, becoming a folk hero in the process.
Isobel Waller-Bridge to Score Apple TV+’s ‘Roar’
Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Emma, Vita & Virginia, Vanity Fair, The Split, The ABC Murders) has been tapped to score the upcoming Apple TV+ anthology series Roar. The show is created by Liz Flahive & Carly Mensch (GLOW) and stars Nicole Kidman, Cynthia Erivo, Merritt Wever, Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Meera Syal, Fivel Stewart and Kara Hayward. The comedy based on a book of short stories by Cecelia Ahern is being described as “a collection of eight half-hour genre-bending episodes, told from a uniquely female point of view.”
‘Munich – The Edge of War’ Soundtrack Album Details
Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the British Netflix original film Munich – The Edge of War. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Emma, Vita & Virginia, The Split, Vanity Fair, The ABC Murders). Also included is the original song Du Träumst (You Dream) written by Waller-Bridge and Tara Nome Doyle in two different versions. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, January 21 and is now available for pre-order here. A first track (Play Your Cards) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. Munich – The Edge of War is directed by Christian Schwochow and stars George MacKay, Jannis Niewöhner, Jeremy Irons, Robert Bathurst, Jessica Brown Findlay, Sandra Hüller, August Diehl, Alex Jennings, Ulrich Matthes and Liv Lisa Fries.

The film’s original music is composed by The National’s Bryce Dessner (The Two Popes, The Kitchen) & Aaron Dessner (Cyrano, C’mon C’mon). No soundtrack album has been announced yet. The spy thriller is directed by Christian Schwochow (Cracks in the Shell, The German Lesson) and stars Jeremy Irons, George MacKay, Jannis Niehwöhner, Sandra Hüller, Liv Lisa Fries, August Diehl, Erin Doherty and Martin Wuttke. The movie based on the book by Robert Harris is set in the run-up to World War II and centers on a British civil servant and a German diplomat who travel to Munich for the emergency Conference and find themselves at the centre of a web of political subterfuge and very real danger.

Two new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the adventure drama The Call of the Wild directed by Chris Sanders and starring Harrison Ford, Dan Stevens, Omar Sy, Karen Gillan, Bradley Whitford and Colin Woodel. The film’s original music is composed by John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon, The Bourne Identity, Shrek, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Happy Feet). Hollywood Records/Fox Music have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening wide is the supernatural horror movie Brahms: The Boy II directed by William Brent Bell and starring Katie Holmes, Owain Yeoman, Christopher Convery and Ralph Ineson.
