Premiering on Tuesday, March 29, is the Hulu limited series The Girl from Plainville created by Liz Hannah & Patrick Macmanus based on a Esquire article by Jesse Barron and starring Elle Fanning, Chloë Sevigny, Colton Ryan, Cara Buono, Kai Lennox and Norbert Leo Butz. The show’s original music is composed by Leopold Ross (The Book of Eli, Triple 9, The Defiant Ones, Broken City) & Nick Chuba (Operation Varsity Blues, Dr. Death). ‘Moonshot’ Soundtrack Album Details

WaterTower Music will release the official soundtrack album for the HBO Max original movie Moonshot. The album features the film’s original score composed by David Boman (Wyrm, Please Hold). Also included is the song Nothing Left to Do by Stefan Paul George. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 25 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Moonshot is directed by Christopher Winterbauer and stars Lana Condor, Cole Sprouse, Mason Gooding, Zach Braff, Emily Rudd and Lukas Gage. The sci-fi romantic comedy is set in a future where Mars is terraformed and colonized by the best humanity has to offer and follows two very different college students who wind up joining forces and sneak onboard a space shuttle to the red planet in order to be united with their significant others.

The crime drama is inspired by American journalist Jake Adelstein’s non-fiction first-hand account of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police beat and follows Adelstein’s daily descent into the neon-soaked underbelly of Tokyo in the late ‘90s.

Milan Records has announced a soundtrack album for the coming-of-age horror drama We’re All Going to the World’s Fair. The album features the film’s original music composed by singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alex G (aka Alex Giannascoli) who has made his feature scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 15, 2022 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (End Song) is already available to stream/download now. The movie follows a teenager who becomes immersed in an online role-playing horror game, wherein she begins to document the changes that may or may not be happening to her.

Premiering on Tuesday, March 15, is the HBO documentary Phoenix Rising directed by Amy Berg about actress Evan Rachel Wood’s recent efforts as an activist pushing for an extension of the statute of limitations for domestic violence cases and the coalition she builds at The Phoenix Act. The film’s original music is composed by Aska Matsumiya (Bruised, Betty, I’m Your Woman, Skate Kitchen, Selah and the Spades).
