Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album for the HBO limited series Landscapers. The album features the show’s original music composed by Arthur Sharpe (The Electrical Life of Arthur Wain, Guilt, Ghosts, Flowers, The Darkest Universe). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out audio samples. Landscapers is created by Ed Sinclair and stars Olivia Colman, David Thewlis, Kate O’ Flynn, Dipo Ola, David Hayman, Samuel Anderson, Felicity Montagu and Daniel Rigby. The 4-part drama directed by Will Sharpe tells the love story of a seemingly ordinary British couple who become the focus of an investigation when two dead bodies are discovered in the back garden of a house in Nottingham.

Also premiering tomorrow is the HBO original documentary The Forever Prisoner directed and produced by Alex Gibney about Abu Zubaydah, the first high-value detainee subjected to the CIA’s program of Enhanced Interrogation Techniques who was later identified as torture by those outside the agency. Will Bates (Unbelievable, Away, The Magicians, The Path, I Origins, The Looming Tower, Another Earth) who previously scored numerous documentaries by Gibney (including Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief, We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks & Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine) has composed the film’s original music. The movie will premiere on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
Weekly Film Music Roundup (October 22, 2021)
Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sci-fi epic Dune directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring starring Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Stellan Skarsgård, Josh Brolin, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista and Javier Bardem. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Inception, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Interstellar, The Lion King, Blade Runner 2049). Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the British biographical drama The Electrical Life of Louis Wain. The album features the film’s original music composed by Arthur Sharpe (Guilt, Flowers, Ghosts, Black Pond, The Darkest Universe). The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 5. The show’s original music is composed by Arthur Sharpe (The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, Ghosts). The thriller, which follows two brothers who are hiding their guilt after running into an elderly pedestrian during an inebriated drive home from a wedding, premiered in the UK in 2019 on BBC Two and is making its U.S. debut on PBS as part of the Masterpiece series.
Premiering on Tuesday, September 7, is the FX limited series American Crime Story: Impeachment developed by Sarah Burgess and starring Sarah Paulson, Beanie Feldstein, Margo Martindale, Annaleigh Ashford, Clive Owen, Judith Light, Billy Eichner and Edie Falco. Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Horror Story, Feud: Bette and Joan, The Politician, Scream Queens) who previously scored the first two American Crime Story installments (The People v. O.J. Simpson & The Assassination of Gianni Versace) is composing the show’s original music. The new season, which examines the national crisis that led to the first impeachment of a U.S. President in over a century, will premiere on FX and will also be available to stream on FX on Hulu.

Arthur Sharpe (Guilt, Ghosts) has composed the original score for the upcoming British biographical drama The Electrical Life of Louis Wain. The film is directed by Will Sharpe and stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Claire Foy, Andrea Riseborough and Toby Jones. The movie is set in Victorian London and tells the story of the titular 19th Century artist as he rises to prominence for his surreal cat paintings. Sharpe also co-wrote the screenplay with Simon Stephenson.
‘Flowers’ Season 2 Soundtrack Released
Sister Pictures and Kudos Film & Television have released a new soundtrack album for the Channel 4 series Flowers. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Arthur Sharpe. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The production companies have previously released an album featuring Sharpe’s music from the first season. Flowers is created by Will Sharpe and stars Olivia Colman, Julian Barratt, Daniel Rigby and Sophia Di Martino. The show revolves around a renowned children’s book author who is battling severe depression as he tries to sort out his not-quite-complete divorce from his delusional, music teacher wife.
