Reach Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Blue Miracle. The album features songs from and inspired by the movie, including original tracks by GAWVI, Lecrae, WHATUPRG, Tommy Royale & others. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 27 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music stores). Blue Miracle is co-written and directed by Julio Quintana and stars Jimmy Gonzales, Dennis Quaid, Anthony Gonzalez, Bruce McGill, Raymond Cruz, Nathan Arenas, Miguel Angel Garcia, Isaac Arellanes, Dana Wheeler-Nicholson, Steve Gutierrez, Fernanda Urrejola and Silverio Palacios. ‘Small Axe’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Motown Records will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon anthology films series Small Axe. The album features selections of the original score from the movies composed by Mica Levi (Jackie, Under the Skin, Monos), as well as several songs from the series, including two exclusive tracks: Michael Kiwanuka’s rendition of the Nina Simone’s To Be Young, Gifted And Black and Tiana Major9’s cover of Janet Kay’s Silly Games. Also included are spoken word pieces written by poet Linton Kwesi Johnson and performed by himself and cast members Sheyi Cole, Rochenda Sandall, and Shaun Parkes. The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 11 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The movie revolves around a self-destructive teenager who gets suspended from school and whose life turns around when he is asked to look after his feisty alcoholic grandmother as a punishment.
