Six Degrees Records will release a soundtrack album for the Showtime documentary Belushi. The album features the film’s original score composed by Tree Adams (The 100, Californication, NCIS: New Orleans, Perception, Swelter). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 25 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music outlets. Belushi is directed by R.J. Cutler (The September Issue) and centers on the too-short life of John Belushi, the once-in-a-generation talent who captured the hearts and funny-bones of audiences worldwide. The film is directed by Steven Soderbergh (Traffic, Erin Brockovich, Contagion) and stars Don Cheadle, Benicio Del Toro, David Harbour, Brendan Fraser, Ray Liotta, Jon Hamm, Julia Fox and Kieran Culkin. The crime thriller is set in 1954 Detroit and centers on a group of small-time criminals who are hired to steal what they think is a simple document when their plan goes horribly wrong.
