Gaumont has released a soundtrack album for the French comedy Fantasies (Les fantasmes). The album features the film’s original music composed by Paul-Marie Barbier and Julien Grunberg (Ibiza). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Fantasies is directed by David & Stephane Foenkinos and stars Monica Bellucci, Carole Bouquet, Karin Viard, Suzanne Clément, Nicolas Bedos, Jean-Paul Rouve, Joséphine Japy, Denis Podalydès, Céline Sallette, Ramzy Bedia, Alice Taglioni, Joséphine de Meaux and William Lebghil. Michael Abels (Get Out, Us, Bad EducationAllen v. Farrow, See You Yesterday) has composed the original music for the upcoming Netflix original film Nightbooks. The movie is directed by David Yarovesky (Brightburn, The Hive) and stars Winslow Fegley, Lidya Jewett and Krysten Ritter. The movie based on the horror-fantasy children’s book of the same title by J.A. White revolves around a boy obsessed with scary stories who is trapped by an evil witch in her magical apartment and must tell a scary story every night to stay alive. Four new movies are opening in theaters nationwide:

Opening in most theaters is the sci-fi thriller Reminiscence written and directed by Lisa Joy and starring Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Ferguson, Thandiwe Newton, Angela Sarafyan, Cliff Curtis, Marina de Tavira, Daniel Wu,  Mojean Aria, Brett Cullen,  Natalie Martinez and Nico Parker. The film’s original music is composed by Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones,  Iron Man, Westworld, Pacific RimClash of the Titans). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the songs from the movie performed by Rebecca Ferguson and Lonr. feat. Amber Mark today. Also opening wide is the animated feature PAW Patrol: The Movie directed by Cal Brunker and starring Beckett Hipkiss, Kingsley Marshall, Shayle Simons,  Lilly Bartlam, Keegan Hedley, Ron Pard, Iain Armitage, Yara Shahidi, Marsai Martin, Randall Park, Dax Shepard, Kim Kardashian West, Tyler Perry, Jimmy Kimmel and Will Brisbin. Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions, The Angry Birds Movie, Smallfoot) has composed the film’s original score. No word on a score release. 222 Records & Interscope Records have released the original song Good Mood performed Adam Levine earlier this month. Will Bates (Unbelievable, I Origins, The Magicians, The Path, The Looming Tower, Another Earth, Away) has recently scored the new Amazon original movie The Voyeurs. The film is written and directed by Michael Mohan (Everything Sucks!, Save the Date) and stars Sydney Sweeney, Justice Smith, Ben Hardy and Natasha Liu Bordizzo. The thriller follows a young couple who find themselves becoming interested in the sex life of their neighbors across the street and whose innocent curiosity turns into an unhealthy obsession, after they discover that one neighbor is cheating. Marvel Studios, Hollywood Records & Interscope Records have released the song In the Dark from the soundtrack for Marvel Studios’ feature Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The track performed by Swae Lee & Jhené Aiko is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Also listen to the full song after the jump. Brian D’Oliveira (Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Resident Evil VII: Biohazard,Gentefied) has composed the original score for the new Netflix anime film The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. The movie is directed by Kwang Il Han and stars Theo James, Lara Pulver, Graham McTavish and Mary McDonnell. The Studio Mir production tells the origin story of Vesemir as he raises from poverty to become a witcher and must face the demons of his past. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jessica Rose Weiss (Cinderella, Friendsgiving, Afterlife of the Party). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 3, 2021 and is now available for pre-order here. Dog Gone Trouble is directed by Kevin Johnson and features the voice talent of Big Sean, Lucy Hale, Pamela Adlon, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Wilmer Valderrama, Joel McHale, Seth Rollins, Damon Wayans Jr., Olivia Holt, Carlos PenaVega, Betty White and Snoop Dogg. Also included are three tracks from the movie’s original score composed by Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Lost in Space, Sausage Party, Horrible Bosses) & Philip White (Jexi, Nobody’s Fool, Alex & Me) who also co-wrote the original song My Way Back Home performed by Tide Lines. The album features a selection of songs from the show performed by cast members including Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Tala Ashe, Nick Zano, Matt Ryan, Olivia Swann, Shayan Sobhian, Courtney Ford & Ramona Young, as well as guest stars Thomas Nicholson (as David Bowie), Tom Wilson, Luke Bilyk (as Elvis Presley), Jane Carr, among others. Series co-composer Daniel James Chan (Supergirl, Emergence) is the principal songwriter (of the original songs) and producer (of the cover versions).
