Königskinder will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller The Colony (Tides). The album features the film’s original music composed by Lorenz Dangel (The German Lesson, A Fortunate Man, What Will People Say, Hell, The Robber). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 26 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Colony is co-written and directed by Tim Fehlbaum and stars Nora Arnezeder, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Iain Glen, Sebastian Roché and Joel Basman. The movie is set in the distant future and follows a female astronaut, shipwrecked on the long-decimated Earth, as she must decide the fate of the wasteland’s remaining populace. Omnivore Recordings will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Homeroom. The album features music from and inspired by the film, including the original song Look at Us performed by Goapele feat. Rexx Life Raj who both co-wrote the track with Lauren Evans,Joseph Epperson, Tony & Mounir Ghantous and Mike Aaberg (check out the official music video after the jump). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, August 27 and is now available for pre-order here. ‘Candyman’ Soundtrack Album Details

The full details of the soundtrack album for the Candyman reboot have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, August 27 by Waxwork Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A vinyl and CD version will be available to order on the label’s website on the same day. A first track from the score (Rows and Towers) has previously been released last week and a second track (The Sweet) is now available to stream/download here. Candyman is co-written and directed by Nia DaCosta and stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Teyonah Parris, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett and Colman Domingo. The movie co-written and produced by Jordan Peele is set a decade after the last of the Cabrini towers were torn down and follows a visual artist who moves into a luxury loft condo in Cabrini, now gentrified beyond recognition, where a chance encounter with a Cabrini Green old-timer exposes him to the tragically horrific nature of the true story behind Candyman.
