‘SODA’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Intrada Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Israeli drama SODA. The album features the film’s original music composed by Frank Ilfman (Gunpowder Milkshake, Big Bad Wolves, The Operative, Ghost Stories, The Etruscan Smile, A Mistake). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 5 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Walt Disney Records has released the main title theme from the Disney Channel original animated series StuGo. The extended version of the track written by Brad Breeck (We Bare Bears, Gravity Falls, Voltron: Legendary Defender, The Owl House, Kiff) and performed by Gil Tower is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The 13-track album feature nine new original songs, as well as four reinvented tracks from the original This Is Spinal Tap movie. John Frizzell (Alien: Resurrection, Office Space, Dante’s Peak, The Waterfront, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, Legion, Thirteen Ghosts, Gods and Generals) is returning to score Hulu’s revival of the animated hit series King of the Hill. The composer has scored all ten episodes of the new season of the show created by Mike Judge & Greg Daniels and starring Judge himself, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Stephen Root, Johnny Hardwick, Lauren Tom and Toby Huss. Bluegrass singer/songwriter and guitarist Billy Strings has contributed a new arrangement of The Refreshment’s theme “song” for the end titles sequence of the animated comedy. Season 14 follows Hank and Peggy Hill who – after years working a propane job in Saudi Arabia to earn their retirement nest egg – return to a changed Arlen, Texas to reconnect with old friends Dale, Boomhauer and Bill. The film is directed by Ben Proudfoot (The Queen of Basketball) and details the rise and fall of revolutionary African leader Kwame Nkrumah, a towering figure of African history who inspired the liberation of the continent in the 1950s and 1960s after rising to serve as Ghana’s first President. Premiering tonight is the HBO original documentary series The Yogurt Shop Murders directed by Margaret Brown about the tragic murder of four teenage girls at an I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt Shop on December 6, 1991 in Austin, TX. The show’s original music is composed by Claudia Sarne (The Book of Eli, Shining Girls, Triple 9, Broken City, Earthquake Bird, Dispatches from Elsewhere).
