Dragon’s Domain Records has announced a new soundtrack album featuring the world premiere release of two scores composed by Albert Glasser (The Amazing Colossal Man, Invasion U.S.A., Geisha Girl, The Cyclops, High School Confidential). The limited edition CD includes the composer’s music for the 1956 noir thriller Please Murder Me! directed by Peter Godfrey and starring Angela Lansbury, Raymond Burr & Dick Foran, as well as his score for the 1949 crime thriller Treasure of Monte Cristo directed by William Berke and starring Glenn Langan, Adele Jergens and Steve Brodie. A24 Music will release the official soundtrack album for Ti West’s slasher movie MaXXXine. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1993 fantasy action comedy Last Action Hero directed by John McTiernan and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Austin O’Brien, F. Murray Abraham, Art Carney, Mercedes Ruehl, Charles Dance, Frank McRae, Robert Prosky, Tom Noonan and Anthony Quinn. The album features the film’s expanded and remastered original score composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Michael Kamen (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Mr. Holland’s Opus, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, X-Men, The Three Musketeers, The Iron Giant), including around an hour of previously unreleased music.
