Paramount Music has released the music from the first trailer for the upcoming action movie Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Anna Drubich (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Fear Street Part 3 – 1966, Werewolves Within) has composed the original music for the upcoming horror thriller Barbarian. The film is written and directed by Zach Cregger (The Civil War on Drugs) and stars Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgård, Justin Long, Richard Brake, Matthew Patrick Davis, Kurt Braunohler and Jaymes Butler. The movie follows young woman traveling to Detroit for a job interview who books a rental home, when she discovers that the house is double booked upon her arrival, and a strange man is already staying there. Artie Kane has passed away at age 93. The composer, conductor and pianist scored numerous film and television productions between the mid-1970s and early 90s. Among his feature scoring credits are Irvin Kershner’s Eyes of Laura Mars, Richard Brooks’ Looking for Mr. Goodbar & Wrong Is Right, Jerry Jameson’s The Bat People and Robert Butler’s Night of the Juggler. Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Disney+ original movie Rise. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ré Olunuga (Up NorthComing from Insanity). The Nigerian composer’s score mixes his interpretation of classic orchestral Disney film music with traditional African phraseology, rhythms and instruments. Also included are two original songs co-written and performed by the eldest Antetokounmpo brother, Ofili (aka Francis Adetokunbo), as well as the song One Day performed by Shirazee.
