Anna Drubich (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Fear Street Part 3 – 1966, Werewolves Within) has composed the original music for the upcoming horror thriller Barbarian. The film is written and directed by Zach Cregger (The Civil War on Drugs) and stars Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgård, Justin Long, Richard Brake, Matthew Patrick Davis, Kurt Braunohler and Jaymes Butler. The movie follows young woman traveling to Detroit for a job interview who books a rental home, when she discovers that the house is double booked upon her arrival, and a strange man is already staying there. Arnon Milchan (The Revenant, Gone Girl), Roy Lee (It, The LEGO Movie) and Raphael Margules & J.D. Lifshitz (The Vigil, Becky) are producing the New Regency production. Barbarian will be released in theaters nationwide on August 31, 2022 by 20th Century Studios.
