UGC Images & Les films du 24 have released a soundtrack album for the French comedy drama Haute Couture (Haute Couture – La beauté du geste). The album features the film’s original music composed by Pascal Lengagne (Overdrive, Fahim, Thank You for Calling). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Haute Couture is co-written and directed by Sylvie Ohayon and stars Nathalie Baye, Lyna Khoudri and Pascale Arbillo. The movie follows the head of the dressmaking studio at Christian Dior who gets her handbag stolen by a young woman and – instead of calling the police – enlists the petty thief as her dressmaking protégé. Premiering on Thursday, July 21, is the HBO Max original series Rap Sh!t created by Issa Rae and starring Aida Osman, Jonica Booth, KaMillion, Devon Terrell and RJ Cyler. The show’s original music is composed by Devonté Hynes (aka Blood Orange) (Queen & Slim, Passing, We Are Who We Are, Mainstream, Palo Alto, In Treatment). Also premiering in the U.S. on Thursday is the British mini-series Showtrial created by Ben Richards and starring Tracy Ifeachor, Celine Buckens, Sharon D. Clarke, Sinead Keenan, Lolita Chakrabarti and Kerr Logan. Samuel Sim (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, The Spanish Princess, Domina, The Halcyon) has composed the show’s original music. Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the drama premiered in the UK on BBC One. The film marks the directorial debut of actress Sanaa Lathan and stars Jamila C. Walt Disney Records has released the new song Glow Webs Glow from the second season of the Disney Junior animated series Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends. The track is written and performed by the show’s Grammy Award-nominated composer/songwriter Patrick Stump (of Fall Out Boy) and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also check out the official music video after the jump. The label has previously released a soundtrack EP featuring Stump’s songs from Season 1. Mercury Classics has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the original song Carolina written and performed by Taylor Swift today. Dragon’s Domain Records has released the first-ever soundtrack album for the 1988 horror comedy Return of the Killer Tomatoes co-written and directed by John De Bello and starring Anthony Starke, George Clooney, Karen Mistal, Steve Lundquist and John Astin. The album features the original music from the first Attack of the Killer Tomatoes sequel composed by Rick Patterson (Happy Hour, Killer Tomatoes Strike Back!, Killer Tomatoes Eat France!).
